  1. 2nd wife's mother...
  2. I use a Progressive as well and works perfect...
  3. Not a bad install, but it requires the handlebar grips to be removed, and a hole drilled in the handlebars for the wiring...
  4. There 'ya go thinking again...
  5. ...Then I can buy a new Indian!
  6. Yup! Lotsa bling on it as well! I'd say it's worth twice the current bid...
  7. First off, glad you survived much less without any injury. You are lucky you killed the bear and not just injured it as the outcome could have been quite different! In your other thread I mentioned about watching out for bears. I was thinking of the time member Mother and OMG and Becky and I were heading down to Asheville. Scott was leading and as he rounded a turn there was a bear just strolling down the highway and Scott missed it by barely an inch! I can remember taking a bead with the bike straight for the bear in case it attacked but instead it ran off the road into the field. Excellent write up, enjoyed the story very much!
  8. I'll be here!
  9. Well, as far as fixed fairing vs fork mount fairing, tell me what you think about using the mirrors to do a last second check as you turn the handlebars! Fixed fairing is best!!! My observations: Handling - 1st gen hands down Power - Ditto Comfort - 2nd gen Reliability - 2nd gen only because it's not as old Comfort features - 2nd gen by a hair Looks - Totally subjective, each is a different style. I like my 2nd gen but I still can't bear to part with my 1st gen... PS I call the heel toe shifter the clown shifter because you need a pair of size 24 clown shoes to properly operate it...
  10. Not me! I already have a trike...
  11. Been using spray furniture polish on my windshields for years and years!! I don't use pledge, I use other brands. Cleans the bugs off and makes the windshield act like it has RainX on it...
  12. Yup! There is suppose to be a spacer in there...
  13. As John Arbuckle said, "You get what you pay for..."
  14. ***SIGH*** We can all dream, can't we??
  15. Don, I may consider one of those for my next windshield! I do most of my driving during the day, very little at night, so it may be to an advantage to consider a tinted one this time around...
  16. The issue with the rim may be due to the rotors and how the holes ventilate the brake gasses. I know it makes a difference with slotted rotors, and the cross drilling looks like it is in sort of a slotted pattern...
  17. I'll have to check my old pictures, I may have the same shot as you have! The BRP is a great time! Just try not to run into any bears wandering down the road!! Evan, maybe we could do a ride together next year!
  18. Outriggers???
  19. You got that right bro!
  20. Gee, the nerve of them, not allowing their employees to chat while working...
  21. Agreed! It would be nice to get chat lively again!! It was good seeing some newbies in there as well!! Keep it up! Would be nice to see some people in there during the day as well but that's just wishful thinking...
  22. Hmmm, 2000cc V6 FI, with ABS, shaft drive, full fixed fairing, built in GPS, heated grips, heated seat, adjustable height vented windshield, bluetooth compatible, high powered sound system plus the usual stuff like cruise and CB might make it interesting...
  23. You two are going to have a great time together! I know you both and just know you will hit it off!
  24. Both PGunn and syscrusher offer very good advice!! Kudos to both!
  25. Hmpf! Last time you were there you wouldn't talk to me...
