  1. Yup! What Jeff said! You might want to put about a teaspoon or less per cylinder of Marvel Mystery oil and let it soak for a day or two, good idea. It will make it a little harder starting though but will save wear and tear on the cylinder walls and rings.
  2. Nice find indeed!!! Lookin' good!
  3. Nice looking Black Beauty! I see you are on Trike Talk too! You could have bought B2Dad's, it is a very nice trike and good price too!
  4. Been there, done that, bought the tee shirt Paul! Wife 3 and I celebrate 24 next month! Keep in touch my friend, we will all be worried about you!
  5. Any MK2 ('86 - '93) will work, does not have to specifically be from an '87. What is wrong with yours??
  6. Uhhhh, thanks for that mental picture Russell, now I have to go bleach my brain with Clorox...
  7. Yes, unfortunately a somewhat common problem. There is a modification to the bolt that you can do to beef it up, do a search on it...
  8. Just wait til you're REALLY old Dan...
  9. Which Time.......... There is a reason I now ride a trike! The wife can stand on the seat and dance to the music for all I care! BTW I believe that qualifies for the $5 donation...
  10. Looks pretty seaworthy to me! Maybe you could name it Hardly A Venture...
  11. For a minute I thought you went to Amsterdam...
  12. OK next stupid question! If tin whistles are made of tin, what do they make fog horns out of??
  13. I think the red is brake, with orange being running lights. Betcha if you test it with 12v to the orange (all lit up) and then apply 12 volts to the red, there will be 3 that light up brighter, one in the center and two on each side. I could be wrong...
  14. Yup! I've noticed speed on either Generation affects the MPG more than 1 up vs 2 up. Towing a trailer also brings down the MPG at any speed. Unless you can get gas without corn squeezins added I would say 37 is doing fine at "real" highway speeds...
  15. 10 Lives (Tabby Town) at the McKinley Mall... I'd say come over and see her but I'm just getting over the flu.
  16. Yah! What Larry said! Overall the Hannigan is a great designed trike with a lot of plusses, but for the Venture one minus was the rear brakes. They've improved them, but I ended up going with a larger master cylinder and then stock Honda CRX calipers and rotors...
  17. Well that works!!!
  18. I don't do Ancient Modulation. It died in the 50's...
  19. What spot on the dial??
  20. Insecticide...
  21. Yup! pretty much looked like some kind of locking nut...
  22. Yup! Several manufacturers. Mine cost $25 at a trailer supply store...
  23. The wheels on the bus go round and round...
  24. In answer to that Trader, we made a very interesting discovery yesterday. Becky was out in the gazebo so I thought I would carry Courtney out there to Becky. When I picked her up in the kitchen, Courtney was purring away and happy, but as soon as I walked thru the door she immediately stopped purring and clung onto my shirt like I was going to toss her away or something! As soon as I got her inside again she began purring again! Later Becky brought her to the door to show her where I was, out in the gazebo, and as soon as she got to the door she stopped purring! We conclude she has a fear of going outside! No motorcycle for her... Funny thing in the carrier she was quiet and well behaved all the way home which was a 45 minute ride!
  25. Wish I could have seen the rest of the lecture...
