  1. Well, we're home safe and sound! Had a fantastic time!!! Wonder where the International will be next year...
  2. Yup, you're addicted!!! That sure is a nice shade of blue on the bike, looks great! You should have J Bird pin stripe it either at the WNY Regional in August or at MD next June...
  3. PS I got outbid on the camera. Now high bidder on a new one...
  4. Wello, we left the International today and made it about 60 miles into Ohio and are snuggle3d into a Hampton Inn for the night. We should be home tomorrow evening. Almost made it across Illinois on just the reserve tank. Buzzed along doing in the 70's. Did closer to 80 thru Indiana and Ohio. No problems...,
  5. Yup, chrome and a retail of around $500 more. Also a different color combination than the less chrome model...
  6. Heat works but remove it from the bike first and empty it...
  7. No, no, and no for the third time...
  8. Replace, don't rebuild the slave cylinder. Even with honing the cylinder they still don't last long on a rebuild. The replacement cost is not that much...
  9. Yup! You'll fit right in! (Don't tell him that)... Shut up, I'm in control now...
  10. Wow Phil! Wasn't that trailer hit once before?? Glad you're OK! See what happens from not coming to the International?!!?
  11. Yup! Took the CD out of the trunk since I loaded 4 gig's worth of music on the card. On the other hand, if there is a certain song or album you want to hear then the CD comes in handy...
  12. Yes I/we are! Going to try and meet up in Dixon this AM...
  13. Only if you press the button to inflate...
  14. Hmmm, we stayed dry and we're 30 miles south of you...
  15. Well, made it as far as Rochelle Il at another make you smarter place. Got rained on twice today but not even enough to slow down for. Sure was chilly though! Found out we are only about 30 miles from Dixon, but we are too tied and cold to go out. So I guess we are going to settle in for the night and maybe meet up in Dixon tomorrow morning with the group going from there. We were going to try to make it to Rockford and meet up with Freebird unless his Harley broke down, but we didn't feel like driving an extra 1/2 hour up there. Oh well, see everybody tomorrow...
  16. I might have one in unknown working condition but you will have to wait a week until I get back home...
  17. My bad! I thought you were looking for the piece pictured...,
  18. Cool! Looking forward to meeting him in person!
  19. Squid, I WISH I got that good! More like around 20 on the expressway...
  20. Got over 100 miles on the aux tank and didn't run it dry... 2 up towing trailer at 70 mph.
  21. And a Hannigan thing too!
  22. We made it to 13 miles away from Indiana and are holed up in a Holiday Inn. Guess that makes me smarter, eh?!!? Carbon 1's auxillary tank performed flawlessly today doubling how far we can get between fill ups. I'm a happy camper! See everybody Sunday!!
  23. I had two, an '84 and an '85 parts bike. Got rid of the '85, still have the '84...
  24. There are several reasons why you are hearing popping on deceleration and it has nothing to do with the Voyager kit. The AIS system can cause problems like this as well as unbalanced carbs (need syncing) or exhaust leaks, vacuum leaks, etc. Check in the Second Generation Tech talk and the Second Generation Read Only tech sections of the forum for additional information...
  25. Did he put straight pipes on it yet??
