  1. If you really want a can of worms opened, research ventures.org and MTA
  2. I must have missed something a while back but can you refresh my memory as to why you didn't set up a political section? Cmor
  3. If memory serves me right, there was a problem with the '83 to '85 trunks cracking. I think there was a fix for this. I'm sure there are a few members who could remember what the fix was. Also has anyone figured out a way to put a string/cord/something to stop the trunk from opening to far. Seems I can't shake my Venture roots. Even with the Nomad I need Venture parts on it. The venture trunks fits extremely well and does inprove the looks. Cmor
  4. I had a 2004 Midnight venture and a 2007 1600 Nomad. Due to personal reasons one had to go. I put both up for sale and the Venture went first. I then was able to keep the Nomad. I still wish the Nomad had sold instead as I prefer the Venture, bigger tank, radio, cruise, better wind protection, more storage room etc however, I still have a ride and the Nomad is a good bike
  5. Then those older bikes should rise in value as supply of the new ones decrease ? or is that just wishful thinking on the 1st gen owners
  6. If you are a legitimate contracter, then this act should not bother you. FWIW they forgot to include a few things: 1) any company/person who direct sells a homeowner any reno work should also have post a performance bond with the state 2) they should also have to have liability insurance 3) any of their salespeople who direct sell should have to be licensed BTW, your states proposal is mild compared to some of the rules in place up here
  7. Many years ago I used to drive a cab. I would like to think I would the same thing.True or not it is a touching story
  8. just curious.......... you said this was an '82? The first year the Venture came out was '83. Keep up the good work. No matter what the year you will have a winner.

  10. Even better in Canada............ No lottery or any winnings are taxable. The only taxes you pay are on the interest earned on those winnings.
