Alan (hubby) and a friend finally had time to fit the Wedgetail Outrider (Voyager) on the weekend. It's not ready for me to ride yet, need to change handlebars and floorboards, and make holders for my elbow crutches yet--but we are getting there For those wondering what that is on my front wheel it's a leading link suspension. It was on for the sidecar, and an engineer told me to leave it on for the conversion. He has the (Voyager) kit on his Goldwing, so I guess he knows what he is talking about It moves the centre of the axle forward, rake angle changed too. Makes it like power steering when you turn

What you see is the leading link suspension. Spear is right, it was on for the sidecar, but an engineer told me to leave it on for the outrider. He has the voyager kit on his Goldwing and said he would probably eventually add the leading link. It moves the centre of axle forward from factory forks, there is rake angle change too. It makes it easier to turn, like power steering!!

Thought I would show you a couple of pics of the RSV with the Wedgetail Outrider (Voyager) on now. Still have to come up with an idea to carry the elbow crutches and to alter the seat and floorboards, but after waiting so long, a bit more won't hurt. Will post pics of completed rig when done.

Glad the two of you are okay. Once saw a guy go into the woods just to play a bagpipe--maybe it was him LOL:crackup:

Hi Don, Just had my voyager kit fitted on my 2007 RSV, and the side panniers will open but not all the way (enough room to have access) you need to be careful as the lids can hit the outrider fenders. I am going to put some 3M scotchguard film on the lids, so there will be no damage Will let everyone know how that works

Here are some pics of it so far. Have to still do some work on it so I can ride, but thought you all might like to see what it looks like on a 2007 RSV

Only took 10 days for my Flanders bars to arrive here in Oz, thanks to Dennis Kirk. They charged me less than $US50 to get them here :happy34:when the other company wanted $US300!! Many , many thanks to Reaney in NH and to Bubber for their help. Just hope the cables are long enough now, there is a lot of pullback on these bars--so keeping my fingers crossed :fingers-crossed-emoall will be okay
