I just received info about the funeral ...it will be held this Saturday the time has not been confirmed as of yet but the visitation are on Thursday and Friday night Thursday from 7pm to 9pm Friday from 12pm to 2pm Anyone wishing to send a card or flowers can send them to Reid Funeral Home 87 Maidstone Avenue East Essex, ON. Canada N8M 2J3 Condolence's can also to emailed to http://www.reidfuneralhome.ca/current.asp under Leslie Nantais I'll have to get back to everyone for the time for the funeral. Hey Texas was granted two things when they became a State ...one was they were allowed to fly their flag at the same height as the USA flag ...what was the other thing??? and Yes I'm serious ...does anyone know ...I was told but for the life of me I can't remember !!!

Ikennett I have no idea who you are friend but there is nothing set in stone as of yet for the funeral ...I just got off the phone with Susan (Leslie's Sister)(because of your post) she has not heard anything yet ...they are hoping to have the funeral soon but nothing is set yet !!! There are things going on and we have to wait before we gave anyone and different answer on the site here ....so please do not post without knowing!!!!!!!!!!!

You folks as well as I ...know you have to drive defensively at all times and even with my modular I still look for that eye contact when I'm coming up on someone ....but how often do we all still have something that happens that's close every summer ... I know with the trailer this summer I left plenty of distance between me and others ...but you know ....with or without I believe I'm keeping more distance now !!

You know the last couple of days have brought out all kinds of opinions and idea's about modulars headlites ...was the young girl on a cell phone ..this and that and you know ...and I'm guilty of it myself ...but do we read all the facts ...find out what is really happening ...or see something and have to gave an opinion before we go though everything ..are we being sensitive enough when we post ....Jeff ..Gary's son ..is a very mature man ...he stated that the young lady wasn't on a cell ...she made a judgement error that was terrible ...but yet I read post of how she was on a cell ....How many even noticed his post ...how many realize that the young men are even looking at the site and reading what's happening here ...Hmmm do we need to be doing this at this time? I just have so many things going though my little brain right now ...I had to write this ...right or wrong it's just an opinion ...doesn't count for squat I guess ...but I had to write it ...

Folks as I hear what's happening here I'll let all know what's going on concerning the Funeral and Gary's health. The boys but I should be saying Gary's young men and headed home to make some arrangements and as I hear you folks will be told.

Just on my behave I'd like to thank everyone ....this truly is family and you people have my utmost respect and appreciation ....and this is for Lonna ...Your a saint ...very caring lady ...and ...I have to say this ..who else would put up with Squid *wink* ...thanks for everything people!!!

Well I have one on my bike because of GaryN and I do believe it was a real bad judgment of that girl thinking it was a turn signal. There is no way in He## you can mistake the two. I have seen were cars have pulled over because of it ...once more bikes have them they will get use to them..I have seen were people at a corner were going to pull out in front of me and have noticed the light and stopped and at one point someone even mentioned how it was a good thing ...cause he noticed it before he did my bike!!...So I'm a believer in them ...simple fact is ...people daydream and sh** happens...I've seen people pull in front of dam semi trucks ....just human nature not to be with it all the time ....just my 2 cents!!!

The wife called the hospital today ...he's got a broken nose ..ribs ...on a ventilator cause of the broken ribs. All his extremities are good but still in a lot of pain and he can't remember much cause of the pain. Keep him in your prayers folks and the family as well please.

Well from what I know ....Gary's sister and brother are bringing back the Mobile home and trailer and Gary himself is going in and out of consciousness and has a broken nose and ribs. They haven't told him as of yet what has happened to Leslie.

You know folks I agree to a point ...but this has been a bad summer ...we lost a neighbor in a bike accident this spring and she was a real sweetheart too ....really great people ..and now with my cousin I just don't know if I'll get the wife on the bike again and if I can't do that ...it's not worth while keeping .. I guess I'll just wait till spring and decide ...

Gary's boys are headed down there and the mobile home had a trailer with it so other then prayers and support I have no idea what else can be done at this time ...I'll let you all know as I do ...it a great loss to our family ...just keep the family in your prayers as Gary is still in the hospital and I don't know the extent of his injury's as of yet .

Yes they were members here and had attended Fort Collins and were regulars at the Michigan Venture meets. GaryN is his nick here!

I just received a phone call informing me that Gary and Leslie were in a bike accident down in Ohio. The only detail I have is Leslie didn't make it and that Gary is in the hospital down there ...I'll let you know more as I do. Keep them in you prayers please.

the handle bar conversion did the trick for me ...brought my elbows down more to my sides therefore taking the reach out of my shoulders...Buckeyeperfomance has what you need...not cheap but was a good fix for me!

Hey I'm retired now so we decided to go with the Grays (bald and maybe even a couple of blue hairs LOL) on a bus tour to Boston (sister talked me into this) So if your in the area and want to come for a coffee at night ..(these tours keep ya pretty busy during the daytime) we be at the Mariner Motor Lodge. Tuesday to Friday...Just ask for the Iler's !! Bruce and Maxine

Well as Tom said ...I just did 16,500 k's with this Trailer ...it's hell on gas but when you consider any where from 60 to 150 dollars a night at a hotel ..well it's a savings. Basically it's the same trailer as Denden mentioned ...the owner Gary worked with Bunk House and helped or did the original design on the trailer ...they also have a smaller version .. with a Queen size bed ... but when I went to buy there was only 30 pounds difference so I went with the bigger model ...that way I can bring full size pillows and stuff just spread out better ....and as Tom said ..use some common sense pulling the trailer ...it's heavy and you need to allow some space ...unlike Denden I didn't go with the brakes ...their electric hydraulic and are not recommended by the manufacturer ...if you have a failure on a bike what's going to happen??? Your going down !!!!....Just have to take time and keep your space between others ....65 is fast enough ....I went though the Rockies ...across desert ...and never had a problem ...always kept gas in mind ...... the difference between the bunkhouse and aspen is pretty simple ...my rods go inside for a cleaner look and bunkhouse on the outside ...cargo space is 25 cubic feet inside (you can get to this space with the trailer ready for travel or set up)..standing area of approx. 6' by 6'.... And their well made ...ask Tom about the Wind Storm we got caught in ...it held it's ground ...well other then the pegs pulled out ...LOL ...outside in my .....well lets say I didn't dress to put the pegs back into the ground ...like most tents you buy the pegs suck ... other then that it's a great trailer!!!......
