I seen 2 Ventures parked in Tarpoon Springs outside Tampa Florida on Oct 15 early PM. just wondering if it was anyone from this site? Midnite venture parked on one side of street and a 08 gold and black venture on the other side. Thanks CHRIS

Im certainly sorry to hear this news.Ill send prayers for a speedy and full recovery.4 years ago the wife and i hit a full size horse. We both layed in the road for a few seconds and were able to get up.Turns out no broken bones.The 05 venture was totaled thou. It took alittle bit before i wanted to ride again so i know where he is coming from. In time he may ease back in the saddle. Thanks Chris:fingers-crossed-emo

We were in Gettysburg Pa for the weekend.On sunday evening the wife and i seen a purple and white Venture trike twice on Stienwher ave in Gettysburg. I wonder if it was any one from this site? Chris

Well it happened so fast i know i did hit the brakes. The brakes are what almost put me down.The impact from her head to the fairing was pretty hard.I got thru the impact pretty stable but after impact the brakes at that point i almost lost it. I thnk Carl is right if you can roll the throtle instead of reacting with braking on a glancing shot you maybe better off. Now if you hit one in the middle i cant say what is the best move.When i did get stopped i expected the fairing to be cracked but nothing but blood and snot. The back was loaded with hair. I hope this experience may be of help to some that may find themselves in a similar fix. Chris

No sorry guys i went on to work.I did call the Mrs because i thought she may have the the tires lock up. Chris p.s. idid give the shorts a good check though.

Left the house 6:00am for work this morning and got about 3/4 mile when a big doe ran out in front of me. I hit her about 50-55 mph.She hit into the fairing and then rolled up onto the saddle bag and back seat.I got lucky and kept the bike up. And as best i can tell didnt get a scratch on the bike..Some blood and alot of hair. She got up and ran into the woods.Put a good scare into me and certainly could have been bad. Well yesterday and today has been in the high 60's here in New Jersey. I put on about 75 miles so far maybe alittle more this afternoon. It sure feels good to get out and blow the dust off. Chris

28" ON SATURDAY AND 8" SO FAR TODAY A PERIOD OF RAIN AND NOW WHITE OUT CONDITIONS. Did ride the bike acouple days in Jan. We expect another 10" inches in the PM today. Sorry for the caps. Thank god for tractors or my but would be snowed in til Easter. Chris:draming::snow2::snow2:

In Salem co.Southern NewJersey here. About 18-20 inches and been digging peoples yards out all day. Made some money a bottle of Absolute Vodka and Sambuka. Plus some hugs from mom and dad. Chris:innocent-emoticon:

Hi Frogman, Im feeling your pain here in NJ. We have about 12" now and we expect about 18-24 before its over. I just pushed out my yard at3:00 pm and should have done it earlier. Ill go back and hit it again around 7:00. Chris

Hey Craig, The cattle are ok as long as they can get inside. But 2ft of snow will be hard on those calves. I threw so some extra straw in their beds last nite. Put some more hay out this morning. The bull is plowing the way thru to the hay rack so they will follow him. Not to much going to slow that 2200 lbs down. Gonna get some lunch and in abit go plow the neighbors driveway out and tonight ill go help my brother do th church lot with my loader.He plows with his tuck but with this heavy snow we will have to pile it up with the loader. I got out and rode some yesterday. Good thing,woke up about 6:15 to 3-4 inches of snow.Its 11:00 am now and we have around 6-7 inches and are expecting in our area about 18-24 inches by sunday. I guess New Jersey will call a stateof emergency. Our road guys are not used to seeing those snow totals here. I hope everyone has a great holiday and stay safe. Chris:rudolf:

I have a 2002 Roadstar trailer and pull behind my 07 Venture. The bigger 16 inch wheels and suspenion is well worth it to me. Some will tell ya they are to much money but if can afford the extra go for it. I bought mine used and could sell it with not much trouble for the money i have in it. I my opinion it is the best on the market. I dont want to offend any one else by that opinion but be sure of one thing it is a darn good trailer. Chris
