I do not know for sure if the carbs are set up the same as the 05,but if it is check the small hoses coming off the air boxes inside top of carbs.My 05 was flooding on the left side could not figure out why removed carbs several times to no avail would run good for a little while then go to pot.Not for sure if it is a vent hose or what one had mud worm nest in it cleaned it been running good ever since.

Also check all the small hoses coming off air boxes above the carbs going back down to air filter boxes.I have an 05 that was acting a little like that also and there was mud worm nest in the hoses.Cleaned them out and ran like new.Missed a trip to Colorado because of that little bugger . Sorry to hear about your wreck!Hope everything gets better soon. I understand your pain,had mri last thursday,compressed disc and fluid build up between L4&L5.Hard to stay on feet all day.Only worked 40 hours last two months.Luckily insurance went in effect 1st of June,did not help much on air ambulance though.$15,000 Will add you to our prayers. I purchased a 05 rsv back in April.There are lights on the front forks instead of reflectors.They are approximatily 1x3,one of them has quit working.Does anyone have any idea where they may of been purchased?They are LED. Thanks Kilowatt

Glad to here you and your wife are ok! Hittting a animal on a bike is a very scary :shock3:thing to go through.When you are lucky enough to walk away it can really open your eyes to what you could have been missing. Some of you may recall on 6/21/08 I came in contact with a 200 lb wild hog at about 60 mph. Pig did not make it Road Star Silvarado did not make it. I on the other hand just got released to go back to work on light duty today. :whistling:Gonna get back on rsv in the morning for short ride to Snyder for a gun and coin show, need to wait for the :no-no-no:wife to go to work she is not quite as thrilled about riding as she used to be.She will eventually come around. I have recently purchased 2005 rsv and was told that the warranty could be transfered. Is this true,and if so what is the process? Also can YES warranty be purchased after the bike has a second owner? Any help would be appreciated.

Wild domestic pigs if you are traveling west central Texas be especialy careful after dark .They generally travel in bunches,in dry creek and stream crossings or into fresh plowed feilds to root around.They will even eat there on or anything else that may be injured.

:scared:On June 22nd 10:15pm on the way home after 300 mile ride to see our BACA kids.I was reflecting on the events of the day.When all at once a little piggy (200lbs)jumped out of ditch at about ten feet had just enough time to oh! impact dead center 60mph.Woke up sliding on my back ,bike fling over and landing in front of me.I watched it slide into ditch about 30ft.ahead of my landing.At this point i could not that I am concious(no helmet)I usually wear one. When I stand up I realize right eye is swole shut,forehead bleeding,both arms look like hamburger,left leg is killing me and I am in the middle of no where. I here a car coming from the north, my luck it turns off a mile before me. I can still hear hogs around and decide this is not a place to hang around,I see a light south of me and start toward it dragging my left leg and hoping they did not have dogs.Knocked on door and requested 911 waited on heli.Nothing broke just skined and bruised. GLAD TO BE HERE!! P.S. Son just told me it was 3/4 mile to that house.Also I was on the Roadstar,Venture was in the shop.

I have aloud pipe story for you. Some buddies and I were riding near Cloudcroft New Mexico.The fella in front was riding a ultra classic (loud pipes)I am second on a silvarado (loud pipes).Next fella on a wing.We come up on a bicycle rider the first two pass no problem. Here comes the wing , bike rider decides to do a u-turn winds up on the windsheild of the wing as my buddy is laying down tring all he can do to avoid the collision.This all happened while slowing down for a stop sign so speed was not a factor. The bike rider said he heard the first two bikes got quiet and thought it was clear and proceded to turn with out looking, and assumed all responsibility. No one was seriously hurt !So you can see why I am a fan of loud pipes.

Thanks fellas, its running better today,took carb assembly out and cleaned. 1st gear is still alittle sluggish but not near like it was,left exhaust not rolling blue smoke like it was. Sea fome still doing some cleaning on jugs.Temp.at exhaust tips running about the same left side was cooler at the beginning. Bikerkwatt
