I am a member of BACA. This past week we had a brother in our sister chapter lose his life. He and several other BACA members were at a bar celebrating a birthday. At the end of the night he and several other members were trying to keep a guy from driving off in his semi. Fubar was on the back of the truck trying to disengage the airlines to keep the truck from moving, the guy took off and Fubar fell under the rear wheels and was run over. He was pronounced dead on the scene. THe truck driver has been charged with manslaughter. This has been a really difficult time. Prayers would really be appreciated for his widow Cargo. I have been trying for several days to get into the BACA website so I can find out how to join the organization if there is a chapter in the San Antonio TX area. I cannot access the site...keep getting a time-out msg. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the site, or better yet, does anyone know who to contact in my area? Appreciate any help.

These people are so awesome...about 22 bikes and a couple cages showed up today to visit "Kitt-N". They brought her a great big BACA blanket.... and best thing was they had a side car today...so of course off she went for a ride ! ( and daddy didnt even ride along this time....) Last picture is of course some of them checkin out the venture.....( couldnt resist snappin that one:D)

I've been told that BACA is developing a chapter in North Carolina. It takes time, but I will keep ya'll informed on the progress as I know it. Brandy

I decided I wanted to learn more about Bikers Against Child Abuse, and apply to a chapter in our area. For shame, North Carolina does not have any chapters here. I'm very disappointed. This is an organization I can really stand behind. Do we have any members patched in BACA? Brandy

BACA is coming tonight to meet Haylie and give us some more info. they would like to have a biker name for her to be known as....only 1 person, the child Liaison, from baca will know her real name or the the specifics of what happened to her. I need some ideas for a name....i cant think of anything..... I believe they are going to give her a vest and i dont know if they put her name on it or not. heading out to get her from school and then to therapy will check in when we get back and see if ya all had any ideas...... thanks for the help !!

I ran across this organization today on the net......and then funny thing when we went to counceling today and she asked if we had a support system here....i said no family here and very few friends since we havent lived here long......BUT i said and proceeded to tell her about this group which she was impressed by you all( and come to find out she used to ride) and very glad we had some special people. well she happened to mention BACA then and i told her i had been reading about them.....she thought they may be a good group to get ahold of for some support. http://bacausa.com/
