    Very cute picture.
  2. There is an option when you place an ad to choose notifications when somebody replies to your ad. A lot of people miss that and by default it was set to NO. So unless you went and checked, you would never know when you got a reply. I assume that most people who place an ad would want to know when they get a reply or question so I changed it to default "YES". So if you DON'T want to receive notifications, you will have to remember to select no when you place an ad. Unfortunately, this change does not affect any ads that are already placed and there is no way to go back and edit it to include notifications if you didn't do so when you placed the ad. Now for you buyers. The BEST thing to do is to also click on the link in the seller information that says "Contact Seller". I've seen a lot of people post a reply that they want the item but in the meantime, somebody else may have already used the "Contact Seller" link so may have gotten ahead of you. It's OK to post a reply but if you REALLY want to make an attempt to be the first, you should contact the seller.
  3. The battery may be weak but the light is actually sensing the electrolyte level. If it is low the light will be on. The other possibility is that somebody put a batter on it that has no hole for the probe. In that case, there is a fix involving a resistor. Details are posted in the Tech Library area.
  4. I'm surprised you guys can't here it. It is clear to me.
  5. Yea, works for me. That is TERRIBLE. I'm glad I never had that problem on either of my '99s.
  6. Uh...sure....you bet...I'll uh...get right on that.
  7. Folks, if you have an item listed in the classifieds and sell it, you need to edit it and mark it sold. Then it will automatically delete itself in a coupe of days. To mark an item sold, just go to your add and click on "product options" at the upper right. Choose "SOLD" in the dropdown menu that opens.
  8. Is that better?
  9. It's a conundrum.
  10. I have no bells at this time. I have patches, decals and flags. Ordering instructions can be found with the product listings here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forum29/
  11. WOW....nobody is saying anything. OK....I didn't have a dog in this fight. I was leaning slightly towards Seattle just because of the ball inflation issue. Not the first time New England has been caught trying to cheat. That being said, I think that for MOST of the game, the Patriots did outplay them but Seattle played great ball in short spurts when it counted. In my opinion, whoever called that pass play at the very end is totally responsible for this loss. What a stupid call.
  12. The decals are in the mail today. Some of you also ordered flags and patches...those are in the mail also. I still have decals, flags and patches available for those of you who haven't ordered yet.
  13. I've seen that type before. They should be good.
  14. 1985 Yamaha Venture. Removable bags...larger trunk.
  15. Maybe I forget but that looks like an '86 to me.
  16. I don't think they have improved it. I haven't tried forum runner but it is installed here also. It used to be not nearly as good as Tapatalk though.
  17. Love those shirts. May have to talk to him about some shirts for Maintenance Day. No problem with you giving him my information. Telephone, email, etc.
  18. A lot of people are complaining about it. I read a lot of stuff on the Tapatalk support site. Nobody likes what they have done with it but Tapatalk seems unwilling to listen. Nothing I can do about it.
  19. Hmm... Seems to be working
  20. It's just a less cluttered interface. I'm not a big fan but some like it.
  21. I got an email from Tapatalk this morning about an update. I installed it and now something is screwed up. Tapatalk ap is not working at this moment. I will get it going again as soon as I get an answer from them.
  22. That is WAY high. I think you can pick them up much cheaper. I'll see if I can find where I bought mine.
  23. Well, I can tell you that I lost two antennas that way. I was flying them from the Firestik Firefly. They were a more slender antenna. The antennas didn't break though, it was the fold down mounts that I had used. They were a nice black "Euro" mount or something like that but were made from cast aluminum and couldn't take the strain. Still, I would be hesitant to do it.
  24. Sent him PM last night. He is ok now.
  25. I just removed the entire thing. I THINK it was causing some other issues.
