  1. I don't know. I haven't received one either.
  2. OK...I just sent you one.
  3. I've installed a modification that changes some features of the private message system. One thing is that you will get a floating notification if you have unread PMs. It also does some other stuff and to be honest, I'm not even sure exactly what it all is yet. Supporting members do have some control over it. Click on Settings at the upper right corner of the forum and DBSuperPMs or something like that is where you'll find your options. This was a free modification. There is also a "PRO" version. The main thing added by the "PRO" version is the ability to add attachments to PMs. Is that something that you would find useful? Of course the "PRO" version is not free but it's not that expensive either so I am willing to do it if enough of you want it.
  4. They are almost definitely on the wrong side. Just need to screw them off an swap them. You should see a cable coming out of the bottom of that left one going right into a black box under the trunk. If that is the case, then they need to be swapped.
  5. Always liked that color combo. Very nice.
  6. Yes, I'm OK with beer.
  7. I think the $100.00 was the thanks that he really wanted.
  8. I'm not. Sometimes this stuff makes me realize how much I don't know.
  9. You must think that I'm a lot smarter than I actually am. Did you not read the part where I actually PAID somebody to figure out how to sort it by location?
  10. Getting it found is the hardest part. There isn't anything else like it for Oberlin so hopefully if I can get the word out, it will get some users. Time will tell. At least I don't have much invested in it. I had the software already so it only cost me about $18.00 to get it up and going. And some time of course.
  11. Yep...it's on the market. We used it twice last year.
  12. I guess I can post it. It's not done though. It is functional but a bit ugly. A lot of work to do on the style, logo, etc. Oberlin Ohio Community Forum - The Front Page
  13. Well then I found myself with an extra VBulletin license. They aren't cheap so I needed to do something with it. Last night I very quickly built a new forum. Nothing that would interest any of you but just a local forum for the Oberlin, OH community. It may do no better than the Touring Hogs site but we'll see. It is up and running but needs a lot of tweaks, especially from a styling standpoint. I'll get to it when I can. I may regret it anyway. I really don't know what to expect. Oberlin is a very liberal little college town and I'm...well....not. It very well may not last long even if it does take off.
  14. I've been using Purolator on my bikes and my cars/trucks for several years. I like them.
  15. OK....the Members Lists are now sortable by the State/Province field. All you have to do it click on "state/province" in the column header and it will sort by that field. After it sorts, there will be an arrow beside it. If you click on the arrow, it will reverse the sort order. You can sort the full member list or the assistance list by location but there are so many who haven't edited their profiles and selected their state/province that you will get a lot of blanks in the ascending order.
  16. That would be nice but unfortunately, that's separate animal.
  17. LOL....too much I think. I thought we would have it by now.
  18. It's not a big deal folks. I could have done a better job with it. My heart just wasn't in it.
  19. I know that most of you don't care but there are a handful here who joined Touring Hogs. I thank you for your support but like I posted there, stick a fork in it, it's done. It has been online for about a year and done nothing. I chalk that up to two things. 1. I did very little to promote it. I got it going and then just sort of let it sit there. I didn't spend any time really customizing it the way I have worked on VentureRiders. The fact is, this site is my passion and regardless of what I or anybody else is riding, my loyalties are to my many friends here. 2. Had I done all that I could, I'm still not sure it would have ever taken off. The fact is, there are just a lot of well established Harley forums out there with years of great technical information available. It would take many years to come close to what they have to offer in that regard. So...later tonight...I will be pulling the plug on Touring Hogs.
  20. I realize that the VR Assistance list is difficult to use as it is. I have been working on some custom programming to let us sort it by state/province. After working on that until 2:00 this morning, I came to the conclusion that I am just to dumb to get it to work the way I want it to.....I do a lot of the customizations but some things just seem to baffle me. So...I have contracted with a coder to do it for us. He thinks he can have it done by sometime later today or tonight. Just wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten about it.
  21. Yes, but it's OK because it's like sitting on a big heating pad.
  22. I had never seen that one. Looks like it will work fine also.
  23. By the way, this is where we get them now. epgSoft
  24. It does for me. You have to have a special dongle though.
  25. I think that is what we are doing now. You go to the website and create your map and then just add it to your signature. I think what is being requested though is that this be done automatically in your settings. You go to your settings, select the states that you have ridden in and the map is created and inserted into your signature. I would have no idea how to do that.
