  1. Thnx Ben!
  2. Two tractors broke down last week. Hopefully they are fixed by tomorrow. Then the fun can be perpetuated.
  3. Best take your bike, that would be tops on the list, then my mother always said to take clean underwear, so I would add that. Later in life I also learned that a pillow and something soft to lay on would be a nice addition. Also I learned, and many others would back me on this, if you take a passenger and that person happens to be female, get a trailer!! Other than that, I'm READY!!
  4. I would think that maybe there would be a piece of dirt caught under the screw in the seat. Take the screw, it's actually a valve out, clean the seat with a brush, pump a bit of fluid out and try again. Just my take sitting here.
  5. What ever you use make sure you flush it well to remove all the old stuff, Some coolants don't mix well.
  6. Nice lookin scooter hope you can make it work and have lots of good rides on it as far as the carbs are concerned work away at them and if you have problems then ask away you will probably need more info so don't be afraid to ask we will try to give you answers that work.
  7. That would have been my take on it as well,,, glad you made it through in one session. Blessings on further healings. Are you sure there isn't just one left, so you could go back and thank her for a job well done?
  8. Thanks for telling us Ben. Blessings and continued prayers.
  9. Boss is working on that, don't know yet how to deal with that issue, maybe have to start another thread yet.
  10. Some very good points to re-consider, and re-train for self.
  11. Good review, at least he doesn't suggest to use WD40.
  12. Could you describe what exactly you mean as to clutch releasing. Does it not release at all? does it only go partway? will the clutch handle squeeze all the way in?
  13. Maybe best post this in a new thread, it will get more attention and replies. And welcome to Venture Riders.
  14. Always good to hear news on an important front, and even better to hear of good progression. Keep us posted EH!!
  15. You're just like my wife, always telling me things I missed!!! Thanks bro,, it's all clear now.
  16. Prayer to the Great Shepherd are on their way. May blessings come their way as they deal with what's ahead of them, and may you and Marita find the peace that passes all understanding.
  17. Looks interesting, maybe we can have some pics without the scoot so we can see how its put together?
  18. Yep!!! just noticed that as I checked, got the boss on it I hope.
  19. Although I can't remember if I meat him, I will sure miss him. He was like a mainstay here, a pillar, always there when he was needed and helpful to the end. I hope to see him again and make a good acquaintance for a long, long time.
  20. Not much will be planned out at this point. Start of the gatherings will be whenever you get there, until the time you leave. Officially, if that needs be, the start will be Thursday Noon! Saturday plans to come up with a communal dinner, prepared by Ernie and Dave,, and can those guys cook!! Cost will be around $15 or so. No plans for music just yet, will have to see how things develop over the next few months. Hopefully we can have some competition in some games to help socialize, failing that we could ask @saddlebuma question. We will also have some suggested rides that could be an interesting visit, it's good country for that for sure. Ernie is also willing to cook for breakie and lunch and suppers/dinners, but he will need to know some numbers to be able to deal with that. I'll work that out yet in days ahead.
