  1. Spelling error!!!!!!!!!! 'asked' is not spelled 'axed',,,, or maybe I should run???? Glad I got a 1st gen still.
  2. Marca could crochet while riding,,, maybe better than a Spyder
  3. Check your high tension ignition wires, they should not be tied to the frame or run parallel to it for any real distance, they should also not run parallel to any audio wires and as far away from them as possible. The high tension wires will cause a magnetic field to be created in the frame and that can then bleed back into the audio either through the ground or the isolating jacket around the audio wires.
  4. Put a socket on it, and if it won't go on it's too small, so you get a bigger one,,,, now if it goes on and starts to slip look for something a little bit smaller,,, if the next one fits just right,,,,,,,,,,, that's the one I would use!!!! Can't help it,,,, I'm so wise:whistling:
  5. So I've been sidelined again???? Actually, somebody will be home today, so anybody can drop them off,, or we can go get them somewhere,,,, I know Ground-Hugger would get lost maybe so I can do something tooo. Really, I don't have any idea hoooos doing what at this point, so I'll just quietly listen.
  6. Will do Tom,, and I won't wait for tonight,,, done already,, and will do some more. May she and you find the peace that only the Creator can give.
  7. We were at a party last night,,,and we had Apple Pie,, and ice-cream,,,, and cake,,,,,,,, there for a minute I thought,, what did I do now, but it seems it must have all been in the honor of Don,,, sooooo Happy Birthday bro, and wish you many happy returns.
  8. Wow, that's special,,, it's a keeper in the memory bank for sure!
  9. I got an idea: Once Bob gets them to NY all he needs to do is to plug the one one of them and then talk into the other end. Ohio is not so far that they won't make it there, should only be a couple of minutes.
  10. Maybe you and I should trade rides for 10 minutes or so. Maybe we got the same problem but on a different page.
  11. Well if you two can't figure it oout I can!
  12. Sure looks good,,,, enjoy you two!!
  13. I think you might like it, we've given it some thought for more reasons than one, but I think Scamper is just going to have to horse around for another year. The dutch in me just can't seem to part with that kind of money,,,,, but I haven't said no yet!!!!
  14. Check out this thread,,,, and it isn't closed yet,, still have the issue. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=21372
  15. Good to hear from you,,, now stick around so we don't have to go chasing you around again,,,, can get tiring you know!!!
  16. I would guess that what he is talking about is what we call side cutters. i know how to do it, so don't mind sharing that with you when the time is right,,,, ya, I didn't come to the trick easily, Muffinman was the teacher.
  17. On my 85, it's much easier to find neutral from 2nd than it is from 1st,,,, often times it's impossible to go from 1st to neutral, but from 2nd it works better.
  18. They might have done things differently in 89, but my 85 was glued in place all around the outer edges. Some of the glue came loose and I had to use an exacto knife to get the rest off. Maybe that happened to your's, kevin, and somebody used two-sided tape, or maybe Yammi decided that the tape was a better idea. Just my opinion though, is that the tape will allow dirt to filter in behind the reflector and make things kind of dirty in there.
  19. Congrats Dan,, hope you can enjoy many more!!! with the Warden, of course!!!
  20. Happy Birthday Puc, hope you can enjoy many more with His blessings. First off, when reading Tippy's post I thought she was talking about me,, but then I realized I must be wrong, after I checked with Marca and she told me it wasn't my birthday yet.
  21. 'cause normally IT is done in secret,,, although it probably does have a place of it's own, but that would be hidden in some other place away from the sight-line of others.
  22. Yep, that might work, but it's not the qualities that you really need. Marine has water repellant qualities and the you are looking for anti-sling qualities,,, could have the same effect, but a new spline hub is about $100 so not worth the chance, to me anyways.
  23. I use Lucas Ex-tra Heavy Duty wheel bearing grease and my splines are still wet every time I change my tire.
  24. We will ask for healing, and patience because I'm sure she could use it.
  25. He has risen!!!!
