  1. You could just buy a slew of batteries, and then when one goes dead, mount the next one,,, you'd probably get a good price as well, maybe like wholesale, so you could help the rest of us out when we need one,,,,,, and then you would have a continued use for your trailer. I really don't know where they put those wires, but if you look in the lower faring on the right hand side, just behind the water bottle, you might come up lucky.
  2. Good of you to hang out with us,,, we do need some guidance every now and then.
  3. You should have said something earlier,, I had a set of used ones you could have had for cheap!
  4. So you do have some sense after all,,, they just may be hard to find seems like.
  5. I wouldn't, but I'll not explain why or it will get political.
  6. I send my hound to go get it.
  7. Nah, couldn't hurt Bobby,,, you know, no sense.............. darn what was the rest of that, I lost it now.
  8. I'm not taking any chances, thanks for the warning!
  9. Nope,,, couldn't have been,,,,, 'course then they were on a farm tour:think:
  10. Ya, your boss would soon be broke, and you'd be looking for a new job.
  11. Kind of helps put things in perspective I'd say. Spent enough time working already,,, and in the bathroom with those related activities,,, but I figured that there wasn't near enough time in bed, so I'd better catch up a little there before things get out off balance,,, and then I might want to ride some more,,, ya, there were some of those beans left:happy65:
  12. Must have been VentureRiders,,, I've seen them do the same thing,,,, hey they waited for her!!!
  13. You just can't sneak on a Wing,,,, you should know that!! So welcome back, and I would kind of miss you, if you up and left us. Just remember that this is a civil site,, and most of us are at least somewhat civil.
  14. Hey Gary,, unless I'm grossly mistaken, and that has happened before, there is a spacer inside the wheel, same size as the inner race of the bearing, and it needs to move over a bit to get at the center of the bearing, so a puller won't work,, and if I still have it correctly, there is a collar on that end of the spacer that doesn't allow the spacer to move over at that end, so the needle bearing is the first one to come out.?.?
  15. Air mixture screws need adjusting, cleaning.
  16. Yammer Dan!
  17. Wheel turns, that' normal ,and show that's it hooked to the engine. No clutch and clear fluid, could be related. Possibly brake fluid leaked out of the clutch, can be fixed easily enough, but a little time consuming.
  18. Doesn't fit into the criteria,,, would be classified as a bribe and so far that seems to be OK,,,, so like Ground Hugger,,,, make an an offer:thumbsup2:
  19. I have an advantage.....:canada:Throw that into your theory!!
  20. We're hoping for self-destruction, that way we won't be blamed for using our deleting skills to eliminate a perfectly good example of VentureRiders.
  21. It's got rust on the pipes,,, you should have left this one,, you just know you're gonna like it too much much to sell it!!
  22. Now you done it!!
  23. I must have missed something here,, or else you keep it well hidden,,,, ja that's it,,, just sayin'.
  24. I've found that the word PROBABLY kills more threads than even the DragonSlayer, so probably I'll have the last word here, at least now DragonSlayer is probably off the hook, or more probably than that, folks will now not want me to post on their threads for the fear that I might use the killer word,,, ya,, that's probably it!!!!
  25. Sounds like the brake system needs a complete tear-down and check over. I wouldn't want to trust my life on a brake system that shows problems. An 86 with never any service brings lots of problems to the table. Stainless lines would really improve the performance of the whole system as well.
