  1. Prayers on the way for you bro,, and never mind all the fun everybody is having at your expense,,, there must be an insurance for that as well maybe.
  2. Does it really work any better inverted,,, or do you just use that for an excuse as to why a 2nd gen can't keep up??? Looks real nice!!!
  3. Now don't be thinking you can get out of town with that thing,,,, well unless there is a gas station or 2 before the next town. And an 02, will be ready to show rust real soon,,oiled or not.
  4. I know I ain't got it,,, got enough of my own and now I don't even get to do that anymore.
  5. If he had quoted higher, would you have done the job? Would you want to have good neighbour relations? Is there a chance that you may have to have him back for more work? Do you want him to speak well of you, are you building a business? Just some thought you may want to answer.
  6. Will be interested to know how they work out for you.
  7. You need to have the airbox and filter in place for it to run well. Also for doing a carb sync.
  8. Wow,,, you have been reflecting the goodness of the Creator for 48 years,,, you have been blessed for sure. What a wonderful position to be in. You must practise love a lot,, the giving of oneself to the other, and so live in security for the future, always knowing that the vows you made were not made lightly. Blessings to both of you as you continue to demonstrate of how God has loved us.
  9. Nice colour, I think,,, but then it's not Cognac,, but I suppose there are other nice colours other than Cognac,,, seeing as there are other people to enjoy them,,, and speaking of other people,, you just know that you are part of a great family eh??? lots of folks here that would not mind riding with you,,,, 'course you would be in the lead and some of us could even take along our trailers,,,, just saying,,,, I mean, you would want to keep everything close handy wouldn't ya???? Hope you enjoy the ride bro,,, it's always a bit of a crap shoot when you get on a new machine, even if it's the same make and model that you're used to. You'll have to make some personal adjustments,,,, hope that things work out well, and that you'll get to 'pick lots of bugs out of your teeth'.

  15. Iffin you has a new gasket you'll not need the sealant, only makes a mess for next time.
  16. Just don't make the clutch bolts too tight. Use an inch lb torque wrench.
  17. Sooooo a new toy eh???? better get with the program and post some pictures or there will be consequences!!!
  18. MarCarl will be departing his humble place of residence to explore the wilds of the Niagara Penn. Planned to join him will be Wizard765. This will not be for the faint of heart, the Spyder is itching to get rid of the old gas and wants a new tank of fuel, the tires need to be tested for durability, the lights need to be examined for clarity, the seat will be enduring a last ride, the modified exhaust needs to be tuned, and it's time to mix the oil properly. Kickstands up @ 12:15,,,, oh wait, it's up already I think,,, or maybe I just don't have one,,, don't matter he's leaving anyways, stand or no stand. If you want to join in the fun, there will hopefully be some ice-cream in the offering. Return will be in time for supper,,, if supper isn't tooo early.
  19. For your thumbs we found it better to have the bars lower and not too far out, got something to do with the shoulder or elbow pinching a nerve I think. For power, it needs to be tuned right, and then when you get into the 4000 range it come right awake. And don't worry about the rpm's, she's made to be there.
  20. Another day older and deeper in sh*t,,,, that's what I see coming up. Happy Birthday Youngun,, hope you can enjoy many more,,, and don't go getting all steamed up,,,, it's only a birthday.
  21. Kill switch is a separate circuit from the start circuit.
  22. Keep in mind though, that if the starter switch is stuck, the solenoid will stay in the on position and not click anyways.
  23. What's this about being MC site???? it's family, and you just can't go that easy. First you have to tell us what we did wrong. Then you have to come up with a real excuse. After that you have to hold a M&G so that you can be properly 'honoured'. And only after that,,,, if everybody agrees,,,, you may hide out for a while.
  24. Common issue, or maybe not so common if you haven't had the pleasure yet. It's the starter button getting stuck!!!! Contact cleaner for a quick fix, or just take it apart, clean and lube it, and away you go. Don't use dialectic grease.
