Yep Puc I have seen and participated in a few Rodeos. What I have not done is a motorcycle demolition derby, those guys are nuts.

I don't think I would have been that easy on him if that was said to me. But glad he is not hurt and the bike is not tore up too bad.

I have an 03 midnight and from what I have seen. Yamaha made the Midnight for every year of production until they went to the (S) model. As for the other colors they were changed every year. The only thing with the Midnight is they have more chrome that the others.

I have the grip buddy's on mine but the Kawa 900 I had I filled the bars with #9 shot that I got from a friend that did a lot of reloading.

I have 14 V Star 1300 and have not had any problems with it. I adjust the belt to where I can press it up or down in the middle about 1/2" to 5/8". The biggest problem is trying to keep my son and his wife off of it when I am not on it. I do get some buzzing in the handle bars at HI way speed. If I road it more I would add some weight to the bars to deaden the buzz.

John do you need the steel plates or the fiber plates? I used the steel plates from mine when I did the Barons clutch. I do have 6 of the fiber plates that are useable.

Puc I know there is a 1,000 uses for that stuff but myself I hate it. I prefer JB 80 or White lithium for that little lube job. For rust penetration I have used a mix of Acetone and transmission fluid mixed 50/50.

I wear Rocky Para boots #2090 they are the most comfortable boot that I have worn yet. I have had two pair in 13 years. They are not insulated or water proof but my feet has stayed dry and worm in cold weather riding and not hot in summer.

I have always had better service from Ford than any other maker. I have a Mustang conv. with 111,208 miles and it has never been touched other than oil changes and one set of tires.

As I was taking my son to meet a friend in MD this morning I spotted a two tone grey 2nd Gen on rt 40 just west of Hagerstown MD. then this afternoon I was going through Charles Town WV I saw a blond 1st Gen at a light.

The news of Dans passing hit me very hard. I will miss him as all of us in this family will. Prayers out for his family .

A good friend of mine had a C50 and road the heck out of it. She would ride it to Atlanta every year for 10 days and then all over WV. She sold it last fall due to health reasons or she would still have it.

Yes that was a decent price for the new 18. My friend and his wife were looking at one in another color without the roof and they told him that he could get the roof added for $2,700. that was no rear fender and it was $700.00 more than the Grand Tour I looked at. But like anything else I would shop for a nice used one at a better price.

Don the one we were checking on had the roof and rear fender on it. The only thing I would add would be a hitch. They gave me a price of $26,950 out the door.
