    k I have a simple, I for some reason with most of my bike I alwasy go with the stock brakes but they always tend to squeak and I'm tired of that. Can someone tell me what are the best breaks that dont squeak for the Venture. thank you :thumbsup:

    I don't want to go to big just about shoulder high maybe a inch higher buy that's all, and since I'm also changing the front tire to a smaller size like everyone else did I think the apes won't be that bad so again Id anyone knows anyone that's done this to a venture any info would be great thanks

    I searched for this and have not found any answers to this, I would like to change my handle bars to ape hangers and would like to do myself but would like as much info in what to look into, like handle bars sizes how does that work because of the fairing we have, how would i know what size cable i would need for the throttle and for the brakes and clutch, also how and where do i change the clutch hose is that a diffical job. I never changed my handle myself so i would like to make sure i dont miss anything. I would also like to ask if anyone has seen any risers that have a 6" pull back but with no rise at all so i can just use the stock bars. ok thank for all your help and hope to hear from you all soon.

    I got the FJR 1300, I like the way it looks but the RSV old school look is more my still. but the funny part is what it said about me that I plan my Vacation with riding and dam that the truth, if i cant take my bike or if i can rent a bike i dont want to go there. lol my wife said the same thing how it hit that in the head. :thumbsup:

    since we can add a CD changer into out RSV and I assume we then can use our master controller to inter act with it can you hook up our Ipod to do the same with a special wire to the audio controller? I hope this makes sence to you all and some one can answer this question Ill continue looking into the search to see if anyone has asked this question before but so far I haven't come across it.     i have i ipod thats been freezy up on me while on the bike only, i even bought a ipod mount for the scoot and no diffrent, but when i use it in the car for longer then 2 hr not once did it freezy. can some one help me and tell me what can i do about this thanks.:bang head::bang head:

    can anyone let me know how there Hazards work on there bike, because my scoot the Hazards only work in the Key is on the on position, if I put the key to Acc they stop working so I would have to leave my scoot running while i'm on the side of the road which to me makes no sentce why would this be I will kill my battery this was. Also is there a way i can change this. thank you to all for your assistance. :thumbsup:

    which one is better im looking at both and noticed that the only Diffrence is size but wieght capacity is about the same, now I have found throught cyclegiant.com a rack that should fit both GW or the RSV pic quality not the greatest but the price is pretty good for only 73 bucks, for the rack OME through yamaha I can get it for 100 buck give and tack. Now my question for those that have seen both or even had both is, which one in quality is a better product? :bang head:

    Hello to all and let me just thank you all for helping me with this question. I'm looking into getting a trunk rack to be able to carrie extra stuff can anyone tell me how much weight can I put on top of the rack and is it a good idea to get it. thanks again for the responds from all. :thumbsup:

    I also know of a friend that doesn't go to the HD dealer that he bought his bike, and for everyone to say its only metric or HD i'm tiered of hearing this we all love to ride,a bike is a bike we all are on 2 wheels so to me it doesn't matter what company you love but how lucky you are with the dealer you go to. From HD to Yamaha,Honda,Suzuki or Kawy it doesn't matter all we can do is find the dealer that has good service and mechanics that know what there doing so to all Good Luck Ride Hard and Be Safe. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I hear alot of angry people out there and I can say I'm one of the, Now someone said that as soon as the bike is paid off there going to trade it well my bike is paid off in full I may just pull the tricker and during the off season I may go HD and do what you just said. But the problem is how much do you thing the dealers will give you for this bike with that sound on it or do you think they will even take the trade, I'm just asking because how embarrassing will it be if you go and do to the sound they say that the bike is not worth the trade, so now I ask you all what do I do now, all I can say is we have alot of members in this site and we also have alot of friends that have or are looking to get a Bike and if Yamaha just for some reason or another finds out that let say how they treat there customers how would they like that. Better yet there a show here in Jersey called shame on you I just may have to call them but the main problem is that I dont think my bike is loud enough and I'm the only person that I know that has this bike here in New Jersey, Don't get me wrong I seen others around but I don't know anyone. Ok sorry but we need to get together and try something we have to understand we hold to much power and influance to not do something. Let me know what you all think.     I cant believe my ears, looks like that I may just have to ridoff my bike, I will be telling the dealer how I feel and I will be sending a litter to a Yamaha Headquaters, but most of all I trusted my friend that works at the dealer and when I asked him if there was anything wrong with this bike he told me no. Now the other day when I told him about the chirp he said the samething its the nature of the beast, well that didnt seat well with me and he knows that so what is going to happen between hem and I only time will tell, i feel like he just wainted to make a sale and not care for me as a friend and i beleive he should of let me know about that issue, man I'm realy mad. Ill tell you all that I'm done with Yamaha and I might just get rideoff this bike love the look the ride and everything else but the noise is to much to take, and let me tell you this that I dont think my noise is even that loud but I can hear it like its in side my ear. I can go on all day but it wont help so i wont, Im going for a ride right now hope I wont get mad and just ride the bike into a wall wish me luck, and to make matters worse I ride with 2 buddies with HD.:bang head::bang head:

    to be fully honest I would even pay a reasonable of curse amont of money just to get ridoff this noise even if yamaha said we will cover labor and we have to cover for new part of curse the money issue will have a big part also to under 1000 would be worth it maybe more thats how much i love the bike. THIS NOISE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY :bang head::bang head:
