Thanks for the info Jack, I doubt I will ever sell the rifle, will probably leave it to my Grandson. Ruger also produced a 357 Mag. revolver for Cartech, mite have to see if I can find one of those to complete the set. Thanks again, Craig

Sorry hate to hijack a thread, but while we are on the subject. I recently inherited a 222 Ruger Rifle, Cartech Annv. special. never fired in all original packaging. From what I understand Cartech produced the SS alloy used to make Ruger firearms. Cartech commisioned them to make this anniv. edition rifle. It has beautiful engraving in the SS. Any info/value on this rifle Jack? you seem to know your guns. Thanks, Craig

I put one on a leased GMC Sierra, ran it for 3 years, took it off and put it on the next Sierra I leased, 3 more years and still looks like new. Truck is outside all the time and goes thru the carwash at least twice a month. When I bought it it came with a 5yr warranty and it outlived the warranty with zero issues. I do push anything over 6" of snow off with a push broom. Great product. Craig

Congrats, I am sure it feels great to finally get recognized for your abilities. I would keep doing exactly what you have been doing, it got you into the job, I bet it will keep you there. Really sorry to hear about this Ron, but glad you two were not seriously hurt. Hopefully you both heal up quickly, that roadrash can be pretty painful depending how bad it is. From past experience white cotton button down shirts about 2 sizes too big mite be most comfortable for awhile. Take Care, Craig

You can lower the front by moving the fork tubes up in the trees, then look around for a used Corbin seat. After those 2 mods bet you can flatfoot. If you want to get even lower you can have the Corbin re-worked. Craig

They are BIG and when they start to go, you aint gonna stop them. Best way to keep the shiney side up is to avoid any situation that may get you into trouble. Real careful on gravel, real careful on steep driveways, ramps where your feet dont touch the ground and lots more. This coming from a guy thats 5'5" and had both a first and second gen. You can save alot of money on parts if you think ahead. Craig
