  1. Congrats Don, I remember talking with you about being home more 2 yrs ago at MD you were struggling then with the idea. I know its alittle scary having never been self employed but I absolutely believe you are the perfect guy for it, and I know you are going to do very well. Believe me your whole life can change in a heartbeat, do what you enjoy, try something new. This is the perfect oppurtunity for you, you had a year to learn the ins/outs and now you can take it to the next level. You are a smart guy, you are going to kick yourself for not doing it sooner. I was self employed for 35yrs, you have already recvd alot of good advice here. All the best, Craig
  2. Eliquos, they said at least 6 months. Craig
  3. Little setback this week, ended up with blood clot in lower left leg, went up thru heart and ended up in lung. Hard to believe how bad one of those can make you feel. After 2 days in hospital, back home now with more pills? Feeling pretty good, just very tired. Went for 2nd opinion at UPenn, DR there agreed with all my current Dr is doing so we felt pretty good about that. I just appreciate all the kind words and prayers, dont really need any other help rite now, but Thank You for the offer. Craig
  4. He will do pretty much whatever you want, best $$$$$ you will spend on a seat. He did 3 of mine! Nicest guy you will ever work with. Craig
  5. Thank you for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. They really mean alot and are really helpful on the "bad" days. We are doing pretty good, holding up pretty well, guess its going to be a long year. One thing for sure I ought to be well rested. I spend 3/4 of my life in a recliner!!! Thanks again, Craig
  6. Thanks to everyone for their prayers, kind words and thoughts, they mean alot rite now and are truly appreciated. I got a good laugh Puc and know exactly what you mean when you say you look like someone from a concentration camp, it was my very first thought when walking by my mirror. Thanks again, Craig
  7. Been trying to figure out an easy way to bring this up since December, but unfortunately I dont believe there is an easy way so I will just put it out there. I have been having some problems with what I believed to be a sprained back since Sept. After all types of therapy with poor results they decided to do some testing as well as imaging. Beginning of Dec. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myloma it is a rare bone marrow cancer, that eats away at your bone, I have already had one operation on my spine and will probably need more. There is no cure but there are treatments to get it to remission and then a bone marrow transplant. Kim and I are both doing well, we are trying to keep positive, laugh every chance we get and hope for the best. I have gone from 190lbs to 155lbs in 2 months and aged about 10yrs. Hopefully we can turn that around. I started treatments this week and so far have been tolerating them pretty well. Dont know if we will be doing any riding this year, but I am holding out hope and that trike just mite make it possible. Well you are all caught up, hopefully I can share some better news as the treatments continue. Thanks Craig
  8. Great to hear from you Dan, my last memory with you and Rose, was sitting on Don's guesthouse porch. WE were Bsing at MD and you were trying to put names to faces. You were hoping to get your electrical bus. up and running, hope things are going well for you. Craig
  9. Dont mean to hi-jack but will that chrome Strat front wheel fit on the RSV? Sure would look nice on my trike! Craig
  10. If they put square headlites on it, it could be the new Avanti Craig
  11. Ya mite want to check to be sure nothing got stuck between the clutch handle and its return stop. Something like a wire, or cable or any other foreign object that keeps the clutch handle from returning to the stop. Dont ask me how I know about these things, but it can interfere with a nice ride! Craig
  12. Congrats Jay, thats a great looking rig! Is it the one you were looking at in Pa? Hope you and Jeannie enjoy many carefree miles n smiles. Craig
  13. Happy Birthday Evan!! Hope its a great day for you. Craig
  14. Back in my day you pulled a little red wagon around the neighborhood. Going door to door collecting rags and newspapers, then take them to the "rag shop" to be weighed and paid. Then off to the Strand theater to see a double feature, cartoons and news for 25 cents:mo money:
  15. Recvd shirts, Thanks Lewis:thumbsup2: Craig
  16. I am 5'5" I owned an 87 VR, I would not recommend that bike for a beginner. You can have the seat shaved lower and narrower but you are still not going to be able to flat foot it. I think it would take a very long time for you to feel comfortable on that bike. Craig
  17. I cant comment on the comparison of the 2 bikes, but I will say there are quite a few different ways to get the seat ht on a 2nd gen alot lower. Also I am sure your wife will enjoy the comforts of the 2nd gen. A taller wider windshield will keep alot of the wind off her too. Craig
  18. Ya better put some $$$$$ aside to cover speeding tickets:mo money: Craig
  19. Take care of yourself and your family, we'll be here when you get caught up! Craig
  20. Yep had one of those with a "reverb" mounted rite under it! Craig
  21. Glad to hear you are feeling good enough to go for a ride! Hope rehab continues to improve your shoulder:thumbsup2: Craig
  22. In our thoughts for a successsful surgery and an easy recovery. All the best, Craig
  23. Popeyes is pretty good, but its hard to beat a fresh batch at Bojangles:thumbsup2: We have a KFC a block away, I would quit eatin Chicken before I would go there. Craig
  24. Congrats to Eileen, very nice looking ride! Enjoy your day, hopefully you can stay dry. Craig
