  3. Sorry to hear this Joe, hopefully its just for observation and she has no serious injuries. Will keep her in our thoughts for a speedy recovery. Craig
  4. Congrats Carl, enjoy every minute! Craig
  5. I would definetly rent an electric pavement breaker, they do a great job with half the effort. Get a couple extra chisels, a point, a chisel and a spade will come in handy digging up the clay around the pipe. Sounds like you have a plan, hopefully its an easy clean cut-off of the old pipe and a couple ferncos and pvc get ya fixed up. Have fun, Craig
  6. Great write-up enjoyed going along for the ride. Hopefully they come up with a fix for the seat and heat. I would still be interested in taking one for a spin, like the low seat ht and center of gravity and really interested in the power band of that motor. Dust on the tank? I had an 06 Black Cherry beautiful bike and color, I swear after spending 2 hrs shining her up, the minute I put her into first gear there was dust on the tank. I was always wiping that thing off. Thanks again, Craig
  7. Great rite up, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Neil! Craig
  8. Very cool video, think I liked the Eluder best. Would be interested in taking the Indian for a ride after listening to all the positive comments on the motor. Thanks, Craig
  9. Glad to hear they are getting you some relief from pain and other symptoms. Hopefully it heals up pretty quickly. Take Care, Craig
  10. While on this cancer regimine I take a Valtrex every nite to keep from getting the shingles, they suggested not to get the vaccine as it contains live virus, there is a new vacine coming out soon. Take care, Craig
  11. While I sat at my front window watching my neighbor, who was kind enough to come over and blow 6" of fresh snow off my driveway:95: Craig
  12. I always liked those Strats, sharp looking bike. Hope you enjoy many care free miles on the new scoot! Craig
  13. Hey, how about alittle additional framing to support substrate for rubber roof, then glue down rubber. 10' wide rolls that will bend over anything. 25yrs no maint. shouldnt be too much added weight? Craig
  14. Hey I have one of those Hondas, I mite have been able to help her add safety chrome. Craig
  15. I think trying to prep that roof for shingles and then adding shingles is going to add way more weight then that structure was designed for. There are alot of lightweight fabrics avail. for these dome/blowup type structures out there, but I guess they are expensive because of low demand. Quanset Huts have a corragated galvanized roof pre-bent for roof arc, wonder if you could find supplier for your arch that would stock pre-formed panels. They would be easy to work with, much quicker/lighter then shingles. Craig
  16. Yep, thats what I did, worked great! Craig
  17. Get the Wolo, Carbon One bracket and I think Larry even makes a wiring kit. One hr later you will have all the horn you want. Dont hit the horn button with the bike in the garage:Bunny2: Craig
  18. Looks like an amazing adventure and you kept that beautiful bike shined up along the way! Very cool! Craig
  19. You are a "lucky guy" looking forward to your report! Thanks, Craig
  20. Depends how you feel about crowds you mite want to avoid Bike Week in Laconia. Usually around 3rd week of June. Things get pretty booked up and alot of crazzies. We went north thru NY to Whiteface area, then across Lake Champlain at bottom. Stopped at Rutland area and hit Ben and Jerrys, Hit some small towns in N. Vermont then over to Mt Washington, Kangamuncas area. Went to Crystal Beach Winnapasaki area looped around bottom and NE to Kennebunkport Maine, beautiful little town and beach. Then rode down along the coast till we hit NY. Beautiful ride, took 9 days no reservations, no rush. Craig
  21. Little too soon to commit, but if we can, we will be there. Has always been a great start to our summer. Any new guys on the fence about going should definetly stop in its a great time, you wont regret it. Just stick your hand out and say hello. Kid/family friendly and any question/idea you have been wondering about, somebody did it and can help you. Craig
  22. Show up on time, everytime with a smile! Do everything you say you are going to do in the quote, then do alittle extra! Leave the work area cleaner then when you arrived. Drop cloths and vacuum cleaners. Bill for exactly what you quoted. When I look back over 35yrs I think this list would be a great start, goes without saying you need to do a quality job. Your smarts, excellent bussiness savy. Great natural personality and even tempermant, will make this alot easier then you think. You're a natural and will do well. In 2 yrs you will have 3 trucks, 3 guys doing installs, you'll be selling, ordering and checking completed work, with alot of free time in between. Enjoy! Craig
  23. Bike looks beautiful, hope you enjoy it! Craig
  24. Congrats Don, I remember talking with you about being home more 2 yrs ago at MD you were struggling then with the idea. I know its alittle scary having never been self employed but I absolutely believe you are the perfect guy for it, and I know you are going to do very well. Believe me your whole life can change in a heartbeat, do what you enjoy, try something new. This is the perfect oppurtunity for you, you had a year to learn the ins/outs and now you can take it to the next level. You are a smart guy, you are going to kick yourself for not doing it sooner. I was self employed for 35yrs, you have already recvd alot of good advice here. All the best, Craig
  25. Eliquos, they said at least 6 months. Craig
