  2. I have had 2 RSV's they both had a delay in the cruise kicking in, think its pretty normal on these bikes. Craig
  3. If you need a set of 07 RSV forks, I have a set, with no damage at all. Willing to part with them for a fair offer. Sorry cant help with your original question. Let me know if your interested. Thanks, Craig
  4. Think I would have bought a case at that price, whatta deal! Craig

    Rat Bike

Think of all the money that guy saves on chrome polish!!!!! Craig
  10. You could put leveling links on rear suspension, fairly easy to do, will help with low speed handling and will raise you up about an 1" or more. Then contact Rick Butler on the forum and tell him what you want in the seat. He will modify your pillow top and get it back to you quickly. He is a great guy to work with and would be a great place to start. If he cant help, then you mite look into harley seat. Friend and neighbor rite up the street had the Police Special with the seat you are talking about. Good Luck with whatever you decide. Craig
  11. Hadnt seen his passing, Thanks for posting. He was one of the top customizers of bikes. Built all kinds of cool bikes. Later in life produced a line of custom motorcycle acces. for the market. In any tv show I saw him in he always seemed like a great guy, no BS drama. RIP Arlen
  12. I overhauled my clutch on the 07 trike this winter, put Earls upgrade in and also swapped the "H" for an "I" basket. Have not had a chance to take it for a spin yet, but am hoping it quieted some of the whine. I know it helped when I did it on the 06. Anyone interested in an "H" basket, I will make you a good deal. Craig
  13. Look on ebay motors, always some for sale there. I have one on my RSV for years, no problem with sun. Craig
  14. The Hannigans use a Ford Tbird rear, flipped upside down. I am sure with enough thought you could come up with a gearset that would do alittle better in the bottom end. Craig
  15. Hey you always need "more power" as Tim the toolman says. My trike seems to have adequate power riding 2 up and loaded, I do tend to keep the revs up more than when I was on 2 wheels. I will stay in 3rd most of the time around town and stay in 4th up until about 60-65 mph. I wished the RSV had more power when I was on 2 wheels and still do on the trike, but in reality it has plenty of power to tour anywhere you want to go. I doubt you will be disappointed. Craig
  16. $125 Sounds fair, I would be interested in a set, put me down for a pair. Hope all goes well with your surgery and rehab, let me know when you feel well enough to start production. Take Care, Craig
  17. Very cool, years ago the Reading Air Show was a pretty big deal around here. They would get the Blue Angels in and if you climbed to one of the higher points in town you could look down on them as they flew by. Craig
  18. Hey, if the stainless is a hassle, I am sure the alum. could be polished up pretty nice. Just thought they looked pretty slick and I am sure my wife would like another option for foot position. Craig
  19. I may be interested in a set, what would you need to get for a set. Also would they come in chrome or polished stainless? Thanks, Craig
  20. Way cool, he must know his stuff to be picked to handle their albums.... man I am showing my age? Congrats and I am sure it will only lead to more great things for him. Craig
  21. Hope things pick up for you, all your products are really well constucted, mite just be a winter lull. Craig
  22. Ok, when I was 14, I worked nites at Ennis hammer factory, grinding the tits off cast iron hammers. The hammer heads were cast in trees of 10 or so, you knocked the heads off the tree and it left a little tit, they rolled a 55 gal drum of heads up to your rite side and an empty drum on your left. Pulled a head out of rite, ground tit off on huge belt grinder and thru finished hammer in empty barrel. End of shift they weighed the barrel and you were payed pc rate. Yeah those were the good ole days, it really wasnt quite as glamorous as it sounds. Craig
  23. In our area the local "Lions" club will take eye glasses, hearing aids, and canes, walkers and crutches. you mite want to give them a call. Craig
  24. When I was a kid I looked out my bedroom window onto the Reading RailRoad Outer Station across from the "Swinging Bridge" it was always a thrill when an old steam locomotive came in. Steam and smoke everywhere. Great memories, Thanks! Craig
  25. I always liked the looks of a trike, even when I was much younger I liked them. I stumbled across a deal to good to pass up so I rented a car, drove to Ohio and rode it home, learned alot in the 500plus mile trip home. Planned on flipping it in the spring, but the more I rode it the more I liked it. Hard to beat the stability, extra storage and peace of mind of a trike. I have the Hannigan 07 and the blue and chrome looks awesome IMHO. Never quite understood the "old man" mentality that keeps some guys from riding one, but hey, to each his own. Craig
