  1. Yes there are several of us done that. But remember, these will not bolt in and fit perfectly. You have to alter them to make them fit. But they make one heck of a light. There are several write ups on here for doing that within the last two years. Don’t know why you couldn’t find them.
  2. Gotcha, I always used white lithium grease. But it’s only needed if the gears are adjustable. I don’t believe those are. Are they?
  3. Bought mine off ebay. Also get the Babbitt’s app. Get anything you want there.
  4. I wondered who was gonna say that. That is exactly right. What you described, your master cylinder needs rebuilt. Be sure to clean out the little holes in the master cylinder. Had mine all but lock up at 70mph one day, did lock up when I got to 20mph. The relief hole stopped up, put pressure on the calipers, the more they overheated, the harder they gripped.
  5. What he said^^^^^
  6. This is the one I used. Works great. Looks like the one mentioned above. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F191928974386
  7. He also mentioned putting all jets the same size and wanted to know if anyone had done that. That’s RSV. IDK.
  8. Wow I just threw away three sets. I don’t think you can buy any for $100. Last I bought were almost $300. If you don’t use the intercom or the cb, you don’t need them.
  9. Michelin Commander ll. The front is a 130/90x16. Seems to handle a little better. Have 16k on the set, they still look good.
  10. No, it says it’s for the Yamaha. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F282559788361
  11. I purchase it and had to fabricate it to fit. But wasn’t hard. Cut away excess parts, drilled and tapped 3 holes.
  12. Jus FYI, these are not crush washers, they are copper gaskets. Meant to be used over and over read your owners manual or shop manual. I’ve changed oil in thousands of bikes, never replaced a washer, never had one leak. just FYI.

  14. I want one, but not forking out the bucks for it. I should have around 100k on my Venture by next year, or early 2020. I’ll see if I can find a used one then.
  15. What he said. I bought an extension mirror at Napa and use that.
  16. If it were me, Mobil 1 Vtwin 20w50. You can get it almost anywhere, WalMart, Autozone, etc. Being air cooled it needs all the help it can get.
  17. Well bad gas has nothing to do with hard to push or hard to roll. I was about to suggest rear, or front, brake calipers locking up. Had that happen before. Not fun, especially the front at 70 mph.
  18. All those are, are sucker buys. They claim to increase horsepower. I watched a dyno test once, and on a 400 inch small block Chevy, they made 4 horsepower difference on a 400 horsepower motor than stock plugs. Plain ole stock NGK last the longest and perform the best. IMHO.
  19. I’m gonna wait 2-3 years, till I get around 100k on mine, then see if I can find a used one somewhere. I’m just not paying that price for a new one.
  20. I’ve been using Deoxit for years on computer electronics. Take these connectors apart, apply to contacts, then connect and reconnect several times. Never had another problem with the electronics. https://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/caig-deoxit-liquid-25ml-with-needle-applicator/429152000000000
  21. Forward control set??? I’m not sure what that is.

  23. Clogged fuel tank breather. Remove the gas cap. Even if the fuel pump quit it will still gravity feed.
