  1. Just got back from the demo ride. I think I like it. handles really well. Fits and feels good. Windshield is not tall enough and no heel toe shifter. Handlebars need work. All of which can be remedied. Around town handling is great, freeway is even better. Lots of buttons and gadgets of course. mine had a ticking on the right side of the engine during acceleration. It feels smoother than my RSV. Well done.
  2. You can also use a product called Totally Awsome at the dollar store for a dollar. Works great.
  3. Took the bag off, and I found where at sometime before I bought this, this bag had been repaired with fiberglass. And of course the fiberglass didn't stick, so that piece fell out. It is cracking all over. Looks like I'll be looking for another bag.
  4. Got home from Sturgis this Friday. Great ride. unloading my right saddlebag and noticed daylight from the bottom. Unloaded it and a piece has broken off and gone out of the bottom. dont think I lost anything, but that crazy. Didn't hit anything didnt drop it. Don't know what happened.

  6. Got to spend a little time with one at Sturgis this week. No rides, but did sit on it, start it, played with all the buttons. its cool, but I'm not sure I'd ever buy one. I've got other things I'd like to do with $25grand.
  7. Mine quit years ago. I just use the reserve and the gas gauge.
  8. They spent all that time and money tuning the exhaust, and what's the first thing over half the buyers will do almost immediately?? Change the mufflers. 😂
  9. I just rebuilt my clutch slave cylinder last week. It was loosing hydraulic fluid, but never left a spot or anything. in pulling the engine side cover off to access the cylinder, it was really nasty in there. I rebuilt the master cylinder while I was at it. So far so good. Going to Sturgis next month I'll know when I get back.
  10. If your old school, bleed the clutch old school. Start at the master cylinder, pump the lever 3 times, hold it, loosen the banjo bolt. Do that till no air comes out. Then move to the clutch bleeder valve. Do the same thing till no air comes out. Don't let the master cylinder go dry, or you'll have to start over.
  11. Part of the original bucket is still there. The original mounts have been cut off. The height adjustment is gone. But the screws with Springs are now the adjustment and also mounts the new bucket to the old.
  12. The original bucket needs to be cut up. I took the screws and Springs, drilled and tapped the holes, and adapted them to the new bucket. good luck
  13. You'll have to do a lot of work to do this. Cut this bucket plus the original bucket and weld them together. There was a picture I'll see if I can find it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/252386759299
  14. I put these in mine, but like the other guy said, you will have to take this bucket and the original bucket, cut them up and weld them together to make them fit. There was a picture showing what to do, I'll see if I can find it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/252386759299
  15. Does both lights blink? If not, the one that doesn't has a pinched wire.
  16. I have this one. You can get them with or without studs. https://www.ebay.com/itm/201940351207
  17. I've never heard one of that didn't do that.
  18. Sure was hoping for a water cooled four cylinder. https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/transcontinental-touring/models/star-venture
  19. I installed these in mine due to noise in my radio due to the HID control box. It's even a lot brighter and pulls less current. https://www.ebay.com/itm/252386759299
  20. Just installed one of these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/281958738645
  21. Wonder why in the world you would need a full time hot wire to a HID?? Does it have a memory of some kind?? I'd change that constant hot wire to a switched and see what happens.
