Heck I was gone this weekend and got pulled in here against my will. I was out being a body guard to Riderduke. That's my latest promotion. I started off as carry on luggage. Margaret

Well I don't want to get too excited but the rain seems to have stopped. The main road out of here did flood, so that should be easy enough to get through tomorrow. One of the bikes is leaning and I can't move it. So I guess I'll see how it looks later and maybe get somebody to move it up right again. Of course I'm heading south tomorrow. I'll meet up with Riderduke and Venturing Sole on 95 and head to SC. Looking forward to some sun. Oh and last I heard we had around 11" of rain. Margaret

Thought I'd give you an idea of what my yard looks like at the moment. Yes it's still raining so it's gonna get worse, I'm hoping for a little break. Margaret

Well we won't be seeing the sun for some time. No stop to the rain in sight. I think we already got to or passed the 8". They did say we could see a foot, guess we may just get that. The wind isn't nice still. Kinda worried about the trees that may fall with all the water. Margaret

This isn't good the schools are closed and everything is shut down. It's like a hurricane is coming through. It's still raining not sure how much but my yard is a lake already. I'll get a few pics shortly. Not sure when this stuff is gonna end. Oh and my power just came back on. Margaret

I'm off the Albemarle sound. Got the sound at the end of the main road and the river on one side of the subdivision and the other side has a canal. Got water everywhere around me. Didn't flood when Isabel came through so if this is as bad flood wise I should be ok. Just might have a heck of a time getting out of the area. The main road does flood and that's the only way out of here. Margaret

Nope no boat. Heck I can't even swim, the dog is a pain too she doesn't like the rain so she doesn't want to go out to do her thing. I get her out and she wants back in. Margaret

Well I'm done with the rain, unfortunately it isn't done with me. It's been raining all day and it's not gonna stop till friday morning. It's what was left of Ida but now it's turning into a nor'easter. They are saying on the weather channel we could get up towards 11" of rain. I'm kinda hoping not that much and just the little ole 8" the local folks are saying. I'm suppose to go to Riderdukes house tomorrow and ride down to George and Bobbie's on friday. The winds are gonna get bad too. If this thing had a butt I'd kick it out of here. We're under a flood watch till friday morning, also the wind advisory till friday. All this rain isn't gonna make it easy to get around. I don't like the wind with the rain it kinda freaks me out with the trees around here. I already have some branches down but there in spots I don't have to worry about moving them for a bit. Plus not sure we'll have power through all this. Sorry for running on but I just want this stuff to go away. I want to go to a meet this weekend where it won't be raining. Margaret

Sorry Ruffy I thought I sent it to ya. I sent you a PM with it. For those I sent it to, it's kinda a temp mail box till they get their own. Not sure how much changes when that happens. I'll let you all know. Oh he likes little Debbies too. I just picked up some more to start sending him. Nothing with chocolate on it though doesn't ship too well. Margaret

He has his internet up and running and he has a room seems to be by himself too, no roomie. He got himself a fridge before leaving the other base. Plus he bought a rug so it's almost like home. I was surprised they hadn't told them the internet was up yet for the rooms. He did say the food is better there then the last place he was at. Margaret

Glad to hear he's getting better. It's a shame that doctors don't always seem to do what they should. Hope he gets some real food in a few days that'll make him feel better as well as you, and no more tubes. Margaret

Well good luck with the bike. I'd think cutting the wires might not have been a good idea in the first place. I've met folks that do things like that too. But I'm sure the guys have real technical info for ya. Anyway hope you get her running and the wife likes riding. Margaret

I just got off the phone with Jeff and they finally got to TK. Now they get to wait to be taken to wherever they will get to sleep. They spent over 12 hrs waiting at the airport to find out if they were going or not. They had to sneak off to get food,because they weren't suppose to leave. Can't spend that long waiting for food, he's a venture rider member. Anyway those folks that asked what he might need I'll have to let you know when they get to check the place out. Right now he's looking forward to finding the shower and the bed. Margaret

Heck I already invited myself to thanksgiving with Froggy and Ramona. Did that when I was at MD or the skid in, not sure which. It could be a venture thanksgiving meet. Margaret
