  1. I put the commanders on the bike, Is this my bike what a difference. I got some foam grips off Ebay one is missing the Venture logo end cap dose any one have one from and old pair they changed out, let me know she would look better with both chrome end caps. I put engine Gard's on the bike to she is slowly coming back to life. Thanks, Dale
  2. Come to southern Ohio triple nickel (555), 78, 800, and more in the foot hills of the Appalachians lots of twisties. We have people from Columbus crash on the triple nickel a lot. Dale

  4. I removed the rear wheel and put grease on the drive shaft and wheel splines. I could not get the hub off I removed the retaining clip but still could not get it to come off, I did not want to pry on it for fear of damaging the hub or the rubber seal. Any ideas? Dale
  5. I redone the brakes they were not sticking but will check again. The wheel bearing had no play when I put the wheel back on. the bike seems to sway just a little so. I thought this might be the wobble the head bearing causes ?
  6. The 83 is running grate thanks for all the help. the bike pulls to the left when I let go of the handle bars, is this caused by a lose steering head bearing or may be tire any ideas.
  7. I have a broken fuse holder I cant find one to replace it, This harness hase a fuse block $25.00 for the harness thought I could swap fuse block. Got my parts for the axel (collar) put her back togather this morning so I can ride to BMC.

  9. 1Gen rear axle collar, any one has one they could part with. I ordered one from local dealer may take 7 days to get it can't ride my 1Gen. Thanks, Dale
  10. I took the rear wheel off to check the placement of the caliper bracket, the washer looked to be in the wrong place. The collar was missing, I sure could use one if any one has one they could part with it. Some one put a new tire on looks to have put no collar, caliper bracket, washer then forced the swing arm over to keep the wheel in place. I would like to know the order of the parts to put them back. Collar,Bracket,Washer.
  11. The black rubber straps, boots not sure what to call them, that the relays go into with a slit to hold the relays in place. All but one is broken and the relays are just laying behind the head light. Thanks, Freebird for your help Dale
  12. I was in to the relays when the starter switch stuck, dose any one have some relay boots the want to let loose of ? They are broken all but one or may be know some where I might get some. Probably not good for them to just hang there. Thanks, Dale
