  1. Try putting a rear tire on the front. I have done this and it greatly improved the steering as there is a larger contact patch and the tire wears much longer. I have been averaging about 40,000 miles per tire. I use the heck out of mine in bad roads, up and down the alcan highway the last 5 years every year.
  2. No you cant wire it up like the RSV as honda uses both wires to the horn are hot all the time, and the button completes the circuit by going to ground. I had a diagram somewhere for the honda I will see if I can find it.
  3. I got the last trike from Motor Trike on the 2nd gen RSV. I like it a lot but the market just wasn't there from the 2nd gen owners. I like the Hannigan appearance much more than the motor trike but at the time hannigan wasn't making them and neither was Tri-Wing. If I were to do it over (and I probably won't ) I would go with the Hannigan. Their customer service appears to be very good from what others say. Motor Trike has no customer service period. They are only doing Honda and Harleys period. Motor trike will treat you like a king until they get your money then they forgot your name and don't question why the paint doesn't match or why something is broken because they just don't have quality control issues ever.
  4. The only way I would buy another is if Yamaha did some major upgrades i.e. Fuel injection, ABS brakes, gps system, cell phone blue tooth, wireless headsets, windshield wipers, cup holders, and a custom seat. Other than that I will keep the one I have since I already put this stuff on mine.
  5. It could be the hub splines were not greased when the reinstall process was done. This will cause the same sound as a rub if they were really dry.
  6. is the corbin for sale? I need on for a project.
  7. I am not saying that this is your problem but, when I hooked mine up I got no audio. I was pissed. Smoked 2 cigarettes and drank 1 beer, then I went over and turned up the volume on the gps itself and all was well after that,
  8. My wife complained of her neck hurting after we switched from the Goldwing to the RSV. I called up Tulsa Enterprises and ordere their tall windshield. No more complaints about her neck or head hurting after a ride. I think its 2 or 3 inches taller than the factory shield. Then there is the question of how do you see over it in the rain. The answer is simple you DON'T! But the Tulsa windshield has more of an angle to it. In fancy language "its more aerodynamic". Once your speed passes 30 mph the rain cannot stay on it, it jusy beads u[ and rolls off.
  9. The conversion is a Motor Trike I have one like it.
