I JUST have to ask!Are you getting SNOW?

Snow, sleet, ice, strong wind, wrecks, and power outages here in upstate SC.

Spent the day sledding with my two five year old boys, helping my wife with some wood working projects, consuming hot cocoa, grilled cheese sandwiches, and hot soup, and keeping the fire going in the wood stove in the garage.

Overall, a good ole family day.

So far the first day we're around 14 to 15 inches. It has slowed down but not expected to stop till later tomorrow. Could easily see 16-20 inches before this crap is over.

:snow2:

Just go lay down on the couch and dream about being in Asheville in August where it is going to be warm, but not too warm, with green trees and sunny roads. :biker:

I was worried for a second since I had not ran to the store yesterday to buy bread or milk so I had to settle for hot chocolate

The sun is shining and the snow is gone so I count my blessings that we survived the blizzard of 16 and hope all those that are still battleing the storm are safe, sound, dry and warm.

I think we got at least a foot already, hard to tell with all the blowing and drifting. Still coming down/sideways hard. Blowing around too much to even try cleaning up. Hopefully the ole Ariens blower has one more big job in her?

Hokey spamoky Joe,, you and Bobbi got hit pretty hard there,,, if I were closer I would shoot over and help ya shovel your roof off if you'ld share that breakfast with me:178:

Just watching the news about the blizzard in NYC/DC,,, she's a dandy there @Flyinfool!! Did notice on the radar how the whole storm has a counter clock wise spin to it Fool.. Do you do that by alternating the angle on the nozzles of the White Washer or is that something that is adjusted by the type of snow flake you producing now?

One thing I have always LOVED about that lop eared varmint Flyinfool,, he personifies the perfect equal opportunity employer idea - not a discriminatory cell in his body, he loves to share with everyone!!

Fool, I wanna thank you too, was just outside and couldn't help but notice that last batch aimed at the east coast seems to have sucked all the clouds away from the pond , sunny and warm enough that things are actually melting here :225:

Worst storm I can remember in awhile. with the wind its a whiteout. Going to be a long day tomorrow. Just hope that ole Ariens keeps running!!
