I think I got this figured out,,, it is pretty complicated but I think I got it....

So,,, when Flyin-theointment-Fool announced he was heading to Michigan for a couple weeks I jumped in the car and headed around the pond... Must have arrived here right after he pulled out cause the 1/4 cup of java he left in the sink was still warm - an not bad tasting either... After using his restroom (shoulda left some paper on the roll Jeff,, now I owe ya one of those green wash cloth's ya had hangin near by) I headed out to the storage shed - I could tell by the tracks leading out there and distinct path they made in the snow that he had been hanging out in the shed for a while...

The lock on the shed was substantial,, I hooked a bike tie down that I had in the back of my car thru the lock hoop and the other end onto my trailer hitch,,, put er in gear and the lock popped off with the door still attached,,, door looks salvageable - I will rescrew it back on before I leave for home...

Anyway,,, was sitting there staring at the machine,,, quite remarkable really.. Lots and LOTS of wires, I counted 14 very tall levers and 50 smaller ones - the smaller ones I assume to somehow relate to 50 States,,, possibly the 14 taller levers for some kind of world coverage.. There are 9 different barrels of what appears to be chemicals of some kind with hoses leading into the machine, small brass valves are attached to each hose - these are NOT your everyday Ace Hardware Valves - they look very precision with Micrometer like markings on each one,, I chose NOT to move any of them as I was not sure what may happen..

Feeling hungry I snuck back inside, peeked in Fools fridge and found his supply of left over pizza,,, opened a Coke.. While eating lunch,, I dug around a little and found what appears to be a small jet engine tucked neatly away in his bedroom closet... Pretty cool contraption,,, judging from the mounts on this motor it almost looks like he is planning to attempt mounting this one into a Gen 2 frame - possibly a booster to help the Gen 2's keep up with the Gen 1's,, that Fool is a genius..

Finished lunch,, back to shed,,,, think I found our problem folks... There is a finely machined apparatus attached to one end of the machine.. It looks brand new, has several switches on top and over 100 LED lights flashing across a very complicated control panel.. There is a set of what appear to be coaxial cables leading outdoors and those are attached to what appears to be a small satellite dish.. The dish rotates in a circle - kind of like some radar units I have seen on boats in the channel heading out onto lake michigan... I noticed that the LED's flash almost in perfect time to the rotation of the dish,, hmmmm...

There is a VERY small box under the machine with one of those yellow and black symbols on it,, it is a familiar symbol that I have seen somewhere before,, its circular with three black "V"'s on a yellow background... I started to open the box but than I heard a noise out front of the Fools house and went to check what it was..

Mail Man delivering a package,, package reads "from your VR Friends in Southern US",, package has a ticking sound and says "DO NOT SHAKE" on it.. I left it downstairs next to some jet fuel tanks where it would stay warm till Fool gets home..

Back in shed,, decided that the Fool probably wouldn't want me foolin with his toy box with little yellow sticker so back to focusing on the complicated machinery.. Having a small amount of electrical understanding I noticed that the shed has 3 phase wiring hanging from its service mast. Had an instant brainstorm!! I noticed a service disconnect hidden behind some stacks of bar stock on the back of the shed.. A neighbor of the Fools had a Fiber Glass ladder leaning against his house,, neighbor was gone so I borrowed his ladder.. Climbed over bar stock, shut off the disconnect, opened box and "phased" service box terminals for opposite rotation on what I believe to be the Fools Snowper Charger with the 100 plus LEDs... If my calculations are correct,, as soon as this contraption fires up,, this thing is going to reverse all this damage it has done,,, White Wash will be sucked back into the machine and the planet will once again be at peace and we can all go riding,,,,,,,,,,, at least till the Fool gets back home and puts the fly back in the ointment...:detective:

That green wash cloth was made out of woven poison ivy......

OH OH

PLEASE say you did not disconnect the 3 phase power!!!!!!

The 3 phase power was for the inertial dampers. With out the inertial dampers to control things, the machine will run at full power and may reach thermal runaway.

If it reaches thermal runaway there is no easy way to slow it down enough to get it back under control.

You now have it running at max output. It has never been tested at max output. There is no telling just how much it is capable of doing. I sure hope that when I get home in December that I can get the inertial dampers back up and running.

OH NO, I just reread your post, you said that you reversed the phasing of the 3 phase input......... That means that instead of dampening the output it will be amplifying the output. You now have the machine running at way over max capacity. It is almost guaranteed to reach thermal runaway now. You may have just started the next ice age. There will be mass extinctions. Dogs and cats living together. Real end of the world stuff.

You said you tried to apply logic, but your logic failed to consider that I am a heartless old coot with a warped mind. This whole process involves a lot of fuzzy logic.

OH PUC WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?????

There may be so much snow will be dumped on me up der in da UP eh, that I may never make it home to be able to fix what you have done.

OH and that pizza you ate, that was a science experiment in the back of the fridge, You may want to run over to your doc real quick like....... That was not cheese on there it was something that was alive and growing and reproducing.

WOE,,, sure glad you jumped on here and let me know about that small oopppsss Fool... FYI,, I changed the phasing back to where you had it and approached the system from a whole different direction,, it was simple - I just left the disconnect off,, turned off all the chemical feeds to the machine, unplugged that green extention cord you had running thru the window, swiveled the nozzles toward the U.P. just in case this last action didnt work AND, as I was walking out the door I took a stick and removed the lid from that container marked with a yellow sticker/black "V"s... Closed and locked the door on the shed and headed home.. I noticed when driving thru Waukee that the street lights seemed brighter and it kinda felt like it was actually warming up outside..

About the pizza,,, I almost feel like my brain has stopped leaking.. I wonder if what ever was growing on that experiment is plugging my leaky brain.. If my doctor concurs and wants the formula for what ever it was that I ate, should I tell him to contact you or are you now hiding in the deer woods so no one can get you (as a result of the White Wash damage reports coming in from out east)? Also,,, my ears are starting to point out like pepperoni - could this be a reaction from that "pizza"?

As long as you are up there you might as well bring back some Venison,, best of luck in your expedition into the great North!!

P.S. - if what I did does happen to turn the planet back to liveable temps I will accept the accolades, if it makes matters worse,,,,, I will be glad your name is still on the patents for that Snowper Charger!!

It's gonna be a LLoooonnnggg snow bound winter for you guys. :snow2:

Looks like I'll enjoy the global warming affects of the Arizona winter, oh wait, that is called beautiful winter weather, and ride. :scorched:

You guys can figure out how to change the internaspinning of the earthbowling rotational outer circumferenceral lines of the planet to try to shake off the white stuff that you all seem to like living in. Pull the switch ! Just don't send that crap down here..

I have a group ride to Globe AZ planned for Saturday morning. Gonna be a nippy 48 degrees at kickstands up at 6:30am.:smile5:

:draming:You guys just keep dreamin' about our riding weather.... :whistling:

Hey Kicster,,, gonna let you in on a little secret here,,, the Fool will probably dump an extra 20' of White Wash on me for saying this BUT,, what the heck what the hay... While dinkin around twistin those nozzles on his Wisconsin White Wash Machine away from Buffalo and torquing them toward the U.P. of Michigan (tryin to give da Fool a little of his own medicine) I happen to notice some fresh aluminum filings under the little selector board that contains the spring loaded ball bearings that hold the nozzles in position.. It wasnt well lit under there, I pulled my flashlight out and looked closely,, sure enough,,,,, a fresh notch in the slide mechanism was found and marked "AZ"... I cant speak directly for da Fool's form of madness BUT,, I KNOW from experience that some other VR members as far away as Florida (that notched marked "FL" was WELL used) have :stickpoke: him and ended up :snow: and :cold:... Not :stirthepot: here,, just doing my civic duty...

Hey. Did you have that thing aimed at Buffalo ?

Mike

Yes,, he did Mike,,, I fixed it though,,, Buffalo should be safe now, at least till the end of the month when da Fool returns....:detective:

I am contemplating a trip to Arizona this winter. I have to warn you, though; EVERY time I have Ventured to Arizona in the winter (that's the only time I care to experience Arizona), the Illinois winter weather has tagged along. In fact, the last time I was in Phoenix (2006), it SNOWED!!snow-spitzer.jpg

If you want me to stay away from Tucson, I will expect $1000 to be deposited in my PayPal account. Don't involve the authorities.

Uhm... As a Special Agent with the Arizona Department of Snow Regulation, you should know that there still is a warrant out for you for the violation of the Arizona Snow Act of 2002. First time offenders can get off with just a bike confiscation and a small fine that covers title transfer. A second offense is pretty painful. The choice is yours....

Nanner, nanner. You don't scare me! You WOULD NOT want to extradite me from Illinois. I WILL bring the Winter Wrath down upon your sunburned souls. (And given some warning, I could even go to Milwaukee and transport the Snowper Charger with me on Southwest carry on. Cowpuc missed the miniaturized Snowper Charger in the basement, situated next to the Bridgeport.)

I still find it incongruous that there are SAILORS in Arizona. Desert Southwest and all.

Arizona lakes: Lake Pleasant, Lake Havasu and Roosevelt Lake are excellent sailing, beaching, partying lakes!

Plus we are a days drive to San Diego and Marina Del Ray in LA, where we can sail off to Catalina Island for a week of bliss.

The problem I have is sailing, golf and riding all take up a full day or more.....so I dropped golf!

PUC, didn't notice the moose...that's funny! Good catch!

Time to hitch up boat, get some ice in the cooler and enjoy!

Have a great weekend guys and gals! Stay warm and safe...

You mean you haul that sailboat all the way to Roosevelt via Tortilla Flats? On that sometimes one way dirt road?

That would be insane to go to Roosevelt through that way. Maybe you are thinking of Apache Lake. That is between Canyon Lake and Roosevelt. The easiest way to Roosevelt is up through Florence passed Superior over to through the hopping nothing town of Miami and then down to the lake. Was a great lake to camp at until the Govt. decided to take it over and screwed it all up for camping and fun stuff. And we DO NOT ALLOW SNOW THERE !!! :backinmyday:
