comingbackdown Posted November 3, 2014 Share #7 Posted November 3, 2014 Augh! Don't ask. We've already had sleet and crap. I don't want to have to park the bike. :'(
bmiller Posted November 3, 2014 Share #8 Posted November 3, 2014 Last Wednesday I flew into Grande Prairie, Ab. And it was white. Snowed 2to 3 in. Overnight. Edmonton is still clear but too cold to ride at this time. Bike has been put up for the season.
saddlebum Posted November 3, 2014 Share #9 Posted November 3, 2014 there were a few flurries on Sat but not enough to call it quits yet. so looks like I may yet have another week or two to ride to work before getting the old truck out of moth balls for the winter. Unless of course they start spraying brine on the road. The stuff makes the road a little too slippery for two wheels and I certainly do not want it to start to wick its way into my wiring. The stuff creates nightmares for wiring even on the so called weather proof wiring.

Angelo Posted November 7, 2014 Share #18 Posted November 7, 2014 Thank God it doesn't snow here. I see you guys talking about putting your bikes away for the winter and I feel sorry for your bikes. Such a shame to think of them locked up all winter because their riders won't follow the birds.
