1st Cousin's Grandson went down

Recommended Posts

Many prayers needed!!! He is 25-ish and was involved in a serious crash in the Hopkinsville, KY/Clarksville, TN area this afternoon. Not a whole lot is known, at this point, but he was Life-flighted to Vanderbilt Trauma Center in Nashville, barely hanging on. At this point he is stable, but has lost a leg and has several broken bones.

He has only been riding about 3 months, on his new, to him, Honda 250 Rebel.

Thanks in advance for all the prayers! Gonna be a long hard road ahead!!!

Facebook post from the Dad;

Praise God! Initial surgery went well. He required a little more blood postoperative, but he is more stable than since the accident. He is breathing on his own without a tube, so he can talk. Still in good spirits. A couple of hours ago, I met the man who initially stopped to help JM while his daughter called 911. He was amazed that John Michael, in obvious pain, never cursed but calmly asked if anyone else was hurt. Just before that the mother of the young man driving the truck that turned into JM came to check on him.

As mentioned he did lose his left leg below the knee. Along with that his left femur is broken,as are both bones in his left lower arm. BUT he is ALIVE!!!:)

Thank You all!!!
