  1. New video from there new album.....God & Guns. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsgG2CeEOVU]YouTube - Still Unbroken - Lynyrd Skynyrd (NEW OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO!!) HQ[/ame] Keith
  2. Here is my latest music video we shot this last Friday down on the family farm in SE KY, had a great time making this one, I hope you enjoy! If you watch it full screen it will stream in full 720p High Def. [ame=http://www.vimeo.com/4241351]Booneville - Vernon Lee More on Vimeo[/ame]
  3. Here is our latest! This is Heaven Hill a local Louisville band that is now getting national air play http://wwww.myspace.com/heavenhill We have been given the gig to make a production video for TV and I-Tunes on their hit single "Going Down". We are going to shoot it in the old school style in the vein of early Motely Crue or Van Halen Videos. Should be a fun project. The only downside is it will be shot the same weekend as Don's Maintenance Day, so I'll miss yet another. I am hoping with their success we get some visability with this one on a national level. Anyway, this was just a spur of the moment fun shoot we did at a Derby celebration in Louisville where they were celebrating having the #1 requested Rock song in Louisville. Let me know if you hearing it in your market if your into Rock music. [ame=http://www.vimeo.com/4567852]Heaven Hill Live - Derby Jam on Vimeo[/ame] This is a a High Def Video so you can watch it stream in full 720p full screen.
  4. Me I think its funny but a lot of peaple want it banned from cmt. What do you think??http://www.cmt.com/videos/toby-keith/426849/american-ride.jhtml?id=1618623 toby keiths new video
  5. hi guys and gals! Just got back from a long trip down into the USA and on the way back we decided to make a small detour to climb Mt Washington on the bike.. the whole week was all sunshine and heat!! except for one day out of 12 days we were out.. http://www.myvstar.ca/washington/ Hope you enjoy the video. Cheers
  6. For people that didn't make it to the Hub but would like to see what the roads were like here is some video. The riding doesn't start until about a minute in. I forgot to mount the camera ahead of time. The camera was mounted to my left side highway peg so it looks like I'm over the yellow line when I wasn't. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZV64-QvJRc]YouTube - Ar1[/ame] Hope this works, I've never posted a video before.
  7. Pktexas and I took the Ride Like A Pro class in Houston today, along with another buddy of mine and a fourth rider. There were three instructors, so we each got a lot of riding and a lot of individual attention. I didn't watch the video first, and I need to be taken off the "lending list" because I bought my own copy. But, I cannot imagine getting the same benefit from the video that I got from the class. Having Wayne or Tom or Kim calling out instruction and fine tuning us was incredibly beneficial. And, frankly, when we got frustrated, they were quite adept at inspiring and encouraging us. The four of us learned at different speeds. My buddy seemed to get it very quickly. A relatively new rider, he had fewer bad habits to overcome. I still need practice, although I know I am on the way to being skilled. I think Perry (Pktexas) had the hardest time, in large part because his 2nd Gen was modified with pull-back bars. They hit the chrome tank cover early, preventing him from turning as sharply as everyone else. He'd mysteriously go wide, and it wasn't until the instructor rode his bike that the problem was revealed. You need a full lock-to-lock range of motion to do these maneuvers, and he wasn't getting it. I'll let him talk about that more if he wants. I'm kinda lucky, because I live 10 minutes from the class. It ran from 8 to a little after noon. From noon to 1:00 was practice, and we learned that we are invited to come back during future class' practice time. Since I live so close, I think I'll get lots of practice. As a corollary, if anyone here takes the class in the future, let me know. I can meet you at my favorite diner, about 5 minutes from the class. Then I can lead you over there, since the directions are confusing. The four of us students came away thinking the class was well worth the money. The instructors were top notch and made learning fun. I highly recommend the class. I'll leave you with a couple photos, and a video of my buddy making it look easy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=valJiM5uX80]YouTube - Allen Riding Like A Pro[/ame]
  8. it has been about 20 years since i had my crotch rocket & a month ago we got a 2004 RSV. i can't believe how rusty i am at riding & how much different the RSV is over a crotch rocket. anyway, i have been getting pretty good at getting around on the RSV without bouts of Oh crap being uttered through my helmet. i would like to get opinions on the Ride like a pro video before i decide to spend next year's venture dues on a DVD. i am sorry, but i did not want to look through 500 or so pages to see if this has been discussed. if so, does someone know where the thread is & it cruise over there. other wise, comments are welcome. Thanks, Dale in Louisiana
  9. I really am impressed with the first part of this video - the sounds are amazing! http://videos.komando.com/2009/06/18/african-thunderstorm/
  10. I know! MORE Road King crap! But maybe this is useful. I'm part way through the install of my "Harley touring pipes". I went to the local H-D dealer and asked if I could have a pair of "take-offs"... pipes they take off new bikes when the owner wants a different set. I was given (my cost: $0) a set they said came off a touring bike. I don't know that they are Road King, or what. They were free and in good shape. They have minor scratches, but I did mention they were free, right? The rest of this is to alert newbies to what the issues are when they read install threads. If you don't know what people are talking about, you miss the information being conveyed. So... here's some information. So here is a top view of my stock RSTD mufflers above the H-D touring pipes. The front of the mufflers are to the right. You can see that the RSTD pipes have the bracket welded to the middle of the pipe, offset to the inside. In contrast, the H-D pipes have the nut holes at the tale of the pipes, centered. This causes the main mounting problem, of how to get the bolt on the bike to meet the nut holes on the H-D pipes. Commonly, you make or buy a bracket that spans that gap. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3642/3691214905_9f02c43f0b.jpg Another view. In my opinion, the RSTD pipes are very attractive. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2657/3692021524_579efc409b.jpg Alternative installation method: Zip ties. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2644/3691215573_0aa375d98c.jpg JUST KIDDING! My brackets are coming, but I wanted to hear how they sounded and couldn't wait. But this does show where the H-D bolts go. The mate is visible on the inside of the black pipe, further towards the front of the bike. Here's one of the other issues: the muffler clamp. I have a V-Twin part coming (P/N 31-9920), but this photo shows the ugly mating of the H-D muffler to the Yamaha header pipe. I had to pry the muffler open a little to get it to go over the exhaust header. It probably needs to go on further, but I am waiting for the bracket to come--that will determine final locations. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3604/3691215821_4cdd0907ef.jpg OK, so here is the good stuff. I made videos of my stock pipes before I installed the touring (Road King) mufflers. Stock Pipes: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWIMtsJhDY]YouTube - Stock pipes on the Royal Star Tour Deluxe[/ame] Harley-Davidson pipes: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nt6QoJtem0s]YouTube - Road King Mufflers on the Royal Star Tour Deluxe[/ame] You can judge for yourself whether you think they are louder. I think they have a different tone and bleat much more when you throttle. And you can see that they shake the camera with the exhaust. But for me, the jury is out as to whether they need modification or not. Hope this helps make the issues a little clearer.

  18. This one is still very much in the experimental stage and still under development, since everyone here is so kind and supportive of my Video making, I thought I would share what I have to for a start. Again this IS NOT the finished music video and is just for my friends here on Venture Riders while and experiment and learn. Thanks to all for the encourgaement as I evolve in this creative endeavor! Joe Bonamassa

Another Video doodle while I learn my new editing software, I put some photos I took at a recent Joe Bonamassa (my current day favorite blues artist) and cut them to his new single. An opprtunity to mix some hobbies, photography, video editing and blues music. Just playing around I know we have some blues fans, so here goes... New Toy

Similar to here for my video passion, I have found a forum of some great folks and DIY enterpernuers. So when we get a new toy we like to show them off. One of the fellows on the video forum started building tripod dollies out of his woodworking business and we have beeen wanting one for some time but anything Pro Video is BIG bucks. So we bought one from this gentlemen and were emailing him to tell him how happy we were with it, he ask us to put together a video of some of our favorite shots using it for him. He also has a cool video on his site www.eazydolly.com So while not motorycycle related I threw this together last night and thought I would share it here as there are some pretty smooth cool shots in it. This things works smmoth as butter and is about a 1/3 the cost of pro models. I see some cool shots of the bikes all cleaned up and shining with this thing this summer! Like the jack adpaters and other widgets builders here you gotta love the skill kindess and sharing of those that can for us others here on these forums. So here goes us having fun with the new toys. PS: And again these are HD videos so once it starts if you click on the four arrows in the lower right corner you can watch them full screen at full 720P HD resolution. If you have a slow connection once it starts click the HD ON to trun off HD and it should stream a little better. [ame=http://www.vimeo.com/3218683]Eazy Dolly Test Shots Reel on Vimeo[/ame]
