It's been a quiet night. Not much happening on the scanner. Central regional jail only has a few new quest for the night. Gasoline prices raised this week I guess everybody stayed home to drink coffee. We are drinking coffee right? Hey Stardbog it's 4:00 am and your still online? Hey today is Friday........I was assured by the Yamaha folks that my Clutch Basket would be here this week......well we have about 8 hours left......I have been patient......quite so I think........even found me a new dealer who is quite nice.....but still he is dependent upon Yamaha. I am not sure what the deal is with this clutch basket.....whether they make a whole new one.....or blueprint one already made......hey do not care anymore.........I just want it fixed. My Basket full of Crickets completely quits at high speeds..say 65 in 4th and on up to 75 in 5th. Smooth as silk......Hey I do not ride that fast much.....only if wanting to go somewhere and I hit the interstate....normally I love the back roads......take a long lazy ride.....55 mph tops......do the speed limit......keep one eye on all the passing impatient cages. That is how I like to ride. At these speeds the whine is very high pitched and annoying....... So today is the day of decision.......if they do not call me....I am done......the Venture is a nice bike.........but hey.........that screaming eagle down at the Harley shop is looking better and better........I may find myself going in just to look again today..... So what do you all think........think you can handle an old school Harley Rider with a sense of humor? I am used to making head gaskets out of a Tide soap box.....but hear testing has been done and Fab boxes are much more tear resistant..........:stirthepot: Kit

Hey guys did you know you can use Seafoam in boats too!!! I just thought it was funny when I was on the forum (ClassicMako.com) I have been cheating on you on when they started a seafoam thread. Feel like I havent been away!!! LOL Long Live SEAFOAM!!!

Hey guys I have an 83 venture and i am looking at getting new mufflers for it i have a set from an 86 that are available to me but i want to make sure they will fit? does anyone know? they look the same to me but i want a second opinion. Thanks

Hey, I am trying to switch out the existing stock radio with a new radio and was wondering if someone could tell me what the 8 wires on the harness that hooks upto the amp is for. I have indentified the 4 for the speakers but the 4 I am not clear on are the red, red with black stripe, orange, and yellow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
