  2. Thx Carbon One for this item. I'll take one!!!! I'm in KY; Zip is: 40241. Please let me know the cost. I'll pay with PayPal or anyway you wish! Thanks bill4you502 (Bill Edwards)
  3. I did contact Canadian Cruiser and Scott did say that the issue with the difference between low & hi beam had been resolved with newer models of the 2800 lumen kit. I think I broke a small wire while installing which he will reimburse me when Cree reimburses him. I also replaced a Sylvania Brite White H4 and the difference, for me, with the led kit was dramatic! I'll post w/ pics once I get everything installed next wk!!!
  4. I use a GPS on my bike & my car (Just because I can ) I trust it more on the bike for reading mph:bighug:
  5. Thanks to Bert2006 for your threads on LED passing lights & headlights. Installed Trucklite passing lights & Cree LED headlight, no problem. Ordered the 3200 lumen since the 1600 was out of stock. Only issue is the headlight doesn't work on low beam; (Problem, you think?) only high beam. Not an issue as I ran the OEM bulb on high all the time. Just adjusted the beam level between low and high. **Note: When installing the passing lights, use a lever type clamp with soft jaws to hold the lamp in the bucket... just make sure the rim is already around the clamp (Don't ask!). Don't need 14 hands that way!!!** Thanks also to those that posted threads about installing speakers & baffles. Installed the clutch side speaker AND both baffles in 45 mins!!!!
  6. I agree! '06 Black Cherry is the prettiest color!!!!

  8. Hey folks, anyone know of a good mechanic in the Louisville, KY area? Not happy with the local dealer; had a clutch plate replaced in Daytona by Yamaha dealer; they charged at least 1/2 of what dealer here would charge............also, have '06 RSV with 37,000 miles and I don't think the valves have ever been adjusted.....................advice?????
  9. O.K. Folks, I've managed to strip the 5mm hex-headed bolts that hold the passing lights' mount on. How can I get them out? Anybody know what size they are? Where to get replacement bolts? I've read about a "spacer" that lets you split the fairing without taking the passing lights off; anyone know anything about that? Lotsa' questions, I know!!!!! Thanks for any help......dummy.......er........Bill:sick:
  10. During prohibition, folks made illegal "Bathtub gin".... and many died or went blind! Tried pot in college; had enough trouble handling life straight!!! Let's legalize it and let the government regulate it. Beats the way it is now....just this ol' guitar player's opinion................Peace, my brothers........... "Life's just a highway...let's ride it all night long!"
  11. Thanks Bert2006, Where can I buy these Truck Lite 4.5 LED Lamps and what model/number are they? Thanks again, Bill4you502
  12. Thanks to all for the responses. Is there an easy way to install a relay and dedicated power line? Is there an alternative to par 36, 55 wt bulbs? I would just like something "whiter" to match the Sylvania Bright White headlight H4 bulb I put in........Thanks again to y'all from Kentucky! GO CATS!!!!!!
