  1. I just bought 2 BILT modular bluetooth helmets from CycleGear and am very happy with them. They have a very good bluetooth range and work for everything needed.
  2. I had both hips replaced, the first one July of '12 and the last one Jan. '13. Was able to start riding again this past October after not being able to for 2 1/2 years. Looking back, I would not wait as long as I did before getting it done. Finally pain free !!
  3. There's a light snow coming down in Myrtle Beach right now but that's not too bad. Just got off the phone with a buddy in Nebraska. He said they are getting hammered, snow falling for the past 13 hours. Said hi wife has just been staring thru the kitchen window for 3 hours and if it gets much worse he'll have to let her in.
  4. I have 2 of those and they work really well. The video is pretty high quality but you need a video converter program if you want to save the video to a CD or DVD (or even e-mail). There's a free program you can download that works well...Any Video Converter.
  5. Retired Garland County Sheriff's Dept. (Hot Springs, Arkansas)
  6. Fripp is a very nice island and you'll enjoy being there. Stop at the Johnson Creek Tavern just before you get to the bridge for some great food. You just have to remember that you'll have to go west before you can go north or south but the isolation is worth the extra drive time.
  7. I replaced my stock lights with a Wagner halogen spot from NAPA (part # H-7616). They use 24 watts and are very bright. I think they were around $22 or $24 each.
  8. I live in the Myrtle Beach area, which is very close to the southeast NC border. I'd have to think that she'd enjoy SC if she's looking for a warmer climate than she currently has.
  9. Interesting. I really enjoy this site and the great information it provides. Scares me sometimes since I'm very happy with my '07 Venture....but now I'm starting to LOOK for things to go wrong. BUT...I also got a free membership in the Star Riders.....haven't used it yet but guess I should. Hope they don't MAKE you buy a vest. I have too many now!
  10. I'm still running Cheng Shin's on my Honda. 10,000 on the rear before I replaced it. Haven't had a bit of trouble with them. Good traction both wet and dry. Of course the Honda is not as heavey as my Ventyre, so I'm not sure I'd run them on it (actually.....I doubt that I would).
  11. Great idea. I'd sign up for sure.
  12. Looks GOOD....Great Job! I put a voyager kit on my wife's Intruder and now she really enjoys riding. No more worry about holding it up. Actually, it's a fun ride and I sneak one every once in awhile. Love to lift those rear wheels .
