Last week was carefully backing a Honda VTX 1800 Retro out of my shop when the rear tire went off concrete. Tipped over in wet grass as foot slipped no damage. Wife and I could not get this beast too stand up at all. Went to lunch got back and it was still laying there asleep. Happened to notice the Zero Turn resting in the shop hooked a strap from it to the right fork grabbed the Honda handlebars and wife eased it right up without even awaking the beast up.

Wish I could travel back in time and talk my stupid ancestors out starting slavery. Why they didn't pick their on cotton is beyond me. Now all the PC's can jump on this. I'm not a bit proud of my so called Confederate Hertiage.
There is no replacement for displacement as far as the fun factor goes but more displacement means more heat. What I'm reading in this thread is heat is a no no comfort is priority.
Retro Rollie, your welcome just remember too find or locate those s/s dust covers you removed and replace them before everything is button-up. They are easy to over look.
Craigslist is full of scammers some are annoying and some are very serious in their intent. I have in the past informed the local FBI office here in Charollete NC. They always ask will I appear in court if they are brought to justice which I always say I will.
This is a good reason to get your CCW permit and start packing. Got mine when I turned 65. The rear take down and hold will work but a bullet in the thigh is faster.
