  1. Don, Glad you made it safely and get to color in your Florida map. I've considered such long distance endurance rides but personaly won't do them. Guess it's my personality, but I'm bull headed enough without adding a "must achieve distance". That would be adding fuel to the fire and would end up getting my butt in trouble. LOL... Just be safe and make wise decisions...
  2. Lucky dog... How are you holding up to Dans snoring?
  3. From the sounds of it, you'd be a real popular guy if you brought your Antenna analyzers along to a MD? I would definately get you to look at mine as it's doubtful that it's tuned right.
  4. I'd really prefer an AMMO plant... the guns at this point are worthless without ammo... Unless of course you throw it at the bad guys...
  5. Sorry I couldn't make it but had a family emergency. My daughter 29, started getting Thunderclap headaches. The Dr. suspected she had just had an aneurysm. She had to wait till yesterday morning to get a CAT scan. Amber just called today. She didn't have an aneurysm . The CAT scan showed no blood in her brain. My daughter lift weights and runs marathons. She is extremely cautious with what she eats and cut salt out completely. The Dr. said the lack of salt in her system was causing her brain to swell and producing Thunderclap headaches, dizziness, nausea, muscle cramping and twitching.. Also said if it had got worse the brain could have swelled to the point that it could cause a blood vessel to burst(aneurysm) So........ the only thing she has to do is increase her sodium intake. What a relief!
  6. So basically if you have a (non-adjustable single CB antenna) it must have a 18' coax, but if you have an (adjustable single antenna) provided you can adjust within range with a SWR meter, the coax can be any length?
  7. I was told by a guy that sells CB's for a living that it's the length of the cable that dictates reception as a lot of CB antennas are not adjustable. The 18 wheelers antenna are tuneable by losening a small allen head screw and raising or lowering the antenna. Not sure if our bikes antennas can be raised/lowered to improve recption/transmission using a SWR meter...
  8. If the goal is to increase the number of members able to attend one of these rallys I'm thinking like Marcarl, some questions would have to be answered first..."What things would draw the most people?" If it is for people to step up and host something in their area, Brake Pad has gone above and beyond. From what I'm seen so far from the responses here it's the latter. Mike will do a good job...
  9. OOOOOOOOps! wrong link http://www.alabamasharkfishing.com/ Although I prefer stream fishing to ocean or lake... Nothig beats a rainbow trout wrapped in a slice of Bacon...

  13. I don't know what diameter rod your lookin at but a trip to Tractor supply or the like might solve your problem. http://www.belarusagsupply.com/Top-Links_c_19.html I cut one in half and welded it on to a smal trailer and the grass sweep so i could tow behind the 4 wheeler over uneven surfaces(a ball wouldn't work due to infexibility)
  14. I like it! Don't think they can keep the price down to $6800 though.... Although I Hope they can .

  18. Agree with DAN, My wife and I give "food" to the local food pantries around here. Use to give to United Way (+12 years) until i found out when an organizations percentange was meet (based on all orgs in the pot) the excess funds were distributed wherever United Way in their infinite wisdom wanted... If they had 10 orgs and collected $150,000 , $50,000 of which was specifially directed, to go to motorcycleholic fund... the most the motorcycleholic fund would see is $15,000. Then... after administrative costs, they would be dang lucky to get $4000.00. Believe it or not...
  19. My favorite was: Blame it on the casanova.... they don't make em like that anymore...

  22. Agreed. Not to say I don't feel something when one doesn't wave back. Unless of course they try to snap it back... That brings a very big, wide grin to my face! Woooooooo Hoooooo! I don't know what's going on in their lives to be a judge and jury. So, I give them the benefit of the doubt....
  23. My bikes going to be just as clean as it is now....
  24. Or just buy HH sintered brake pads. The harder OEM pads will glaze your rotors. I know they glazed mine...
