I-81 S 446.54 miles 7 hrs 58 mins / 8 hrs 10 mins 600 mi. is about a far as I ever want to go in one day. After that, my ability to focus on the task at hand is compromised... Things happen very quickly on a bike... Like the old saying goes: " There are old riders, and there are bold riders, but there are no old, bold riders." Yup, 2 days... Actually, would only take one, but I plan on doing Devils Triangle (six gap, Ga) on the second day of ride down then head to Gunterville, Al. which is another 4 hours 41 minutes / 233.58 miles

Although I'm on record here for saying DynaBeads are a waste of money and they can't work, I've been proven wrong... Went to Pickenfreds a week or so ago and somewhere in our conversation I mentioned I had carpal tunnel in my right wrist. My hand started going to sleep immediately after installing new "balanced" Dunlop3's between 50-60 mph. Before that, i had Dunlop 404's and no vibration what so ever. He put 1 oz in the front tire and i can truthfully say my right hand hasn't gone to sleep since. Also: The slight vibration in my left mirror at 72 mph has dissapeared as well. I don't know how they work, but they do...

I see, Vogel and Ashville take turns every other year. looks like Ashville is on even numbered years... Just do something about the rain... LOL We need to pay off some NC Indians, to not raindance. In 2012 when we went to deals gap it was raining so hard, everyone had to go inside and we didn't get to do the dragon... heck it was raining so hard, on the way back that i could just barely see Kevin (AKRefugee) the tailgunner and he was only 30' back... That's not asking to much is it?

Freebird needs to make the call on this. As stated earlier, I had questions, like you, on how to go about picking a spot. It (the poll thread) got deleted... Would be a waste of effort to start another poll if he has already made up his mind. I had contacted Snowshoe about having it there, but it is pricey. The thing about doing it at a resort is "They have a captive audience, and " they know it"... $139 and up for rooms on the hill, $15 breakfast, $25 lunch, $30 dinner PP, plus tips..." Not to mention a banquet room Renting for $500 (5 pm to 11 pm), the catered dinners $30-$60 per person. Then there is the expected gratuity of 20%... When we did Cody,Wy people stayed in two or three motels, breakfast was free. Campground was close by. We rented a motel space for banquet. We have a lot of members on a fixed budget. I can't see myself heading south either in August...that, and the fact that it would have to be in a place, that i would go out of my way to get to. No knock to mike or the great state of Alabama, but i can truthfully say, I have never even considered Alabama as a vacation destination. Before the Cody IR, I had always wanted to do Bear tooth pass, Yellowstone and Chief Joseph highway(in the top ten motorcycle roads), the IR gave me an excuse to do act upon it.. *Instead of just seeing who volunteers to host such an event, shouldn't we be picking a spot(s) where a lot of us would like to go? The M&E's cover just about every state, if that's where you really want to go. As always, I hereby reserve my remaining time, and the right to revise and extend my comments... Don't know the address, but... was thinking of creating a list of key words everyone could say over the phone and include in every email and text to overwhelm their system... I however, don't need uncle Sam coming down on me as I have enough drama in my life the way it is... But hey, have at it....

Congratulations and happy 40th! Penny had I had our 30th last May. The time flies by when your having fun!

When you select cassette I don't think you can listen to aux a well?

Does this mean you can use the plug in for the mp3 and the aux jack for a GPS at the sametime?
