Actually if you go to their new website, there are rooms available. 2 night minimum stay at $189 per night plus taxes and fees. I just checked. Ummm. yeah....not. We stayed at the Quality Inn in Elyria. Not the best part of town for sure. Not sure if I will be staying there again.

I look forward to this every year. There is a small group of us that meet and ride to and from together. Always a good time........even though we got SOAKED on the way home last year!

I have an Onyx portabe that I swap between my 4Runner and my bike. Ram mount on the bike and I just chuck it in the center console in the 4runner.

I get where your coming from Jeff. I used to enjoy tinkering, but with my current work load and drive time to and from work, I do not want to tinker anymore. And if you and I team up.......you hit Puc from the west and I will hit him from the east. We'll get that puckster!

And the HF looks no where near as nice as my Dart either. I paid $1400 for my trailer....worth every dime. I like to ad things that enhance the beauty of my scoot, not detract from it. I would rather buy something that is purpose built for my application than have to monkey jack around making it work and making it look nice. My time is more valuable to me for that shtuff and I have no patieance for crappy quality as I experienced with my POS HF lift. Just my .02 and my preference.

If your referring to me......why yes.......yes there is MUCHO GRANDE dissatisfaction with my lift. 2 pumps and neither works. Well worth the money savings. My wifes 750 Shadow Spirit is parked on it for winters storage. I will deal with this POS lift next year. I get PO'd everytime I look at it.

Hmmmm, the only thing I have done to my Dart purpose built tag along is replaced the tail lights with led. I have not had to replace the bearings, axles, lengthen the tongue, mount a cargo box, replace tires every 3000 mile because the axle is bent. Just hook it up to the bike and go. I read all the comments about the modifying and problems guys have with the HF trailers and it makes me wonder why you guys still mess with these things. It leaves me scrathin me noggin.

You can come and get my lift. It has 2 pumps......neither works.

Got both scoots cleaned up, Stabil in the tanks and ran thru the carbs. Now for the big sleep. The Honda is on the lift battery tender connected and all covered up. Nighty night Shadow. The 07 RSV is all ready, gotta make a taaaaaaaaaaaaad bit more room for it this year. I bought a bigger tractor and it is making me push everything farther back in the garage. I really think it is time for a pole barn.

Are you riding two up during the higher rpm versus one up at the lower? Pulling a trailer at the higher rpm? Did you................................................................gain weight?

I hope you do get a chance to tell me YOU TOLD ME SO. I really do. I know I for one have been VERY disappointed in Yammies lack of interest in changing a bike or offering what I think is a VERY LOYAL customer base a new bike. Look at the product line Indian has brought out in the last few years. But, I have made my choice, it will be a used CVO or Ultra Low. I just like the style of the bike. And I do like to flavor up the conversation from time to time.

Turtle, I have 51k on mine. Love my bike but I would like something different. Big Lenny, I don't sugar coat. That is the problem with todays society. Everyone needs sugar coating and polical correctness. It just boggles my mind at how every year somebody starts this type of thread and then all you here is "I talked to this guy and he said this or that". I hope Yammy does come out with one for the masses. That way all the hoping and praying goes away. I am not trying to be a jerk but.......it is my nature.....ask my wife! As I stated though, I hope they get you boys a new touring bike but I really think you will be dissapointed on Christmas morning.

Funny how everyone here drinks the Yamaha Kool-Aide. Every year for the last 5 years you all sit here hoping and praying for a miracle. How is it working for you? In reality......if they did actually come out with a new bike.........how many of you would actually pull the trigger and drop the cash for one??? I bet not many.

Puc, I have to sell my RSV first so I have a down payment. Basically looking in the spring. I have to see how work goes through the winter. I would like a RSV Hannigan trike for vacation/long weekend use. I do not want to go 3 wheels permanently just yet. The CVO new is $40k. I looked at a used 2013 CVO this week, has 6200 miles on it and they want $26k. A lot for a used bike, but considering what it has and what it cost 3 years ago, not a bad price. I would be interested in a new Ultra Low for the right price. Color choice on the CVO, I am open. Not interested in red though. I do like the orange, the one I looked at this week is white, silver, gray, black combo. Regular Ultra Low, I really like the emerald green over black and the Amber over platininum.

Personally I like the looks of a "traditional" bagger like the my 07 RSV a Harley or an Indian. I have decided that if I buy something it will be next spring/summer. I decided that it will be a Harley Ultra Classic CVO Screamin Eagle. I will buy a used one with low miles. 2013/2014 There are plenty out there. Nothing wrong with my RSV, but I want something different to ride. If those "supposed" spy shot that circulated awhile back are any indication of Yammies direction, I definitely would not buy one. The CVO is more my taste, so that will be the direction I will be going in. You just may see my Venture up for sale next year on this site.

I came real close 2 weeks ago on buying a new bike. Brighton Harley Davidson had the exact one I want. Clearance on the 2015's. It was a 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Limited Low in emerald green over black. Came close........real close.
