  1. Sorry to hear about Eileen's back issues. We can relate, as my wife has had 3 back surgeries in as many years- 2 of them within 5 months of each other last year. We certainly wish her the best and for a speedy recovery.
  2. Yessir, that did it. Thanks.
  3. I thought it may be a browser thing so I tried Chrome instead (I usually use FireFox, don't ask me why). In Chrome the home page looked just like Freebird's screenshot above, until I signed in. Then it all changed to the same view I'm seeing in FireFox.
  4. I'm not seeing a moon either. I also don't see the panoramic photo of all the bikes at the top, just the VR logo.
  5. +1 on the Dunlop E3/E4's. I had about 15k miles on my last set with life left in them when I picked up a screw in the rear tire. Decided to replace both with the E4's. Only about 1500 miles on them but as much as I liked the ride and handling of the 3's, the 4's seem much better. They are also much quieter when cornering.
  6. I've just started seeing advertisements for some revolutionary new helmet communication device by Domio Sports (http://www.domiosports.com) called the MotoPro. I was just wondering if you've ever seen it and if so if you have any thoughts about it. Thanks, TDbiker
  7. Greetings all. I'm still here, check in several times each week but don't post much. Still riding our 2005 RSTD, but not much the past 2 years. Seems life gets in the way.
  8. This thread is well over a year old and the OP's membership has expired.
  9. I've been using it in my 2005 RSTD since I bought it in 2009. I'm no expert by any means, but I have to say it's worked well for me.
  10. I bought one of these last year for my RSTD and couldn't make it work. I have the stock size front tire, and it seems the tire is just a bit too wide to fit properly. I more or less forced it in, but that was a big mistake because it was about all we could do (my son and I) to get it back out of the stand. I ended up returning the stand and got my money back. Guess I'm curious how others make it work, because I'd really like to have one.
  11. My first bike was a C50T (2006 I believe). Absolutely loved it, and had no issues at all with it. If I had the room I would have kept it when I bought my RSTD. It handles nicely and rides 2up comfortably. We wanted something a little bigger for longer trips.
  12. If I have any questions with installation I'm sure there are many here that can assist. I'd be more than happy to cover your shipping costs. Shoot me a PM when you know what they are and how you'd like payment (I do paypal). Glenn
  13. That sounds great! Send me a PM when you're ready.
  14. Ditto on the smartpartz baffles. Without them I'd have removed the MO's.
  15. I greatly appreciate your efforts. Glenn
  16. It seems he's no longer a member here so I'm not sure how to contact him.
  17. My apologies if this is in the wrong place but I'm sure the boss will move it to the correct forum if necessary. I know I'm late to the game, but if possible I'd like to get my hands on a Wagner Grille Guard. If anyone has one that they're not using, or if you have one on a bike you're getting ready to sell/trade, I'd be interested. Thanks in advance, Glenn
  18. I tried a PL14612 this past summer (before I'd read here that the design had changed), and I did experience a slight oil leak where it didn't seal properly.
  19. Here are the ones I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-Muffler-Step-Clamps-1-pair/252884916460 Good luck.
  20. Mine is also a 2005, but an RSTD (not that that should make any difference). I'm also running Dunlop E3's, but mine are pretty much on their way out (well over 10k mi on them).
  21. I installed mine yesterday. I don't have any product comparisons, but I have to admit the installation and programming couldn't have been any easier. Took a ride before starting to get my baseline readings using a GPS. Plugged the numbers into their calculator on the website to get my correction value. Installed and programmed the unit and took another ride to check the readings. They appeared to be dead-on. My correction value is -8.3. Now my only concern is, after riding this bike for 8 years without correction, that I now remember the speedo is accurate...
  22. I also ordered a SpeedoDRD (received it yesterday). Before I go hunting for it, can someone tell me where to look for the speed sensor connector? I'm guessing it's either under the seat somewhere, or maybe behind the left side cover. Thanks in advance. Oh, and it's an '05 RSTD...
  23. ...and here's one I remember that always makes me chuckle.
