  1. I've got some take offs from a Venture that I don't need will these work?
  2. Don: Prayers are being lifted up for you in West Virginia!! Terry
  3. As I read this I thought it would all work out, but then no more trips to West Virginia !! You've got to make a stand!!! LOL
  4. As an animal lover I can relate to your loss. Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Terry
  5. George: I"ve known (3) people that have had them. They all had good luck with them. They were before the FI's came out. I'm sure if you find one with low miles & decent care it would make a good bike. Happy shopping! Terry
  6. I think it's the new Kawasaki Voyager. I think it's a great looking bike. Terry WV Terry
  7. Skid: I used plywood floor for mine, didn't have exterior type so I coated with undercoating. You can extend tongue length by moving the front cross brace forward. Don't know how they pull with standard tongue length but with the extended mounting you can hardly tell it's back there. Hardest part was painting everything black unless red works for you!! Terry
  8. I took the beginning class several years ago & my wife took & passed the same earlier this year. I truly believe that it should be mandatory to receive your license. With as many bikes as there is on the road (and lots more coming with fuel prices) it would make everyone's ride safer if they at least know the basics. I too would like to take the advanced class & will either this year or next. Off my soapbox now!! LOL Terry
  9. Wow what a difference paint can make! IMHO it really updates this bike, good job!! Terry
  10. I have a stuffed possum on mine. We really get a lot of comments. Sometimes my wife flips him on his back for a true road kill look. It's mandatory that we get old, but it's optional that we have to grow up !! Terry
  11. I used a discarded black wire display rack from a grocery store. Cut it down some & bolted to tongue. Found a black softside cooler from Target, it has a velcro flap that lets you get inside quickly. Good for trips to Amish country (cheese, etc). Maybe have $30.00 in the whole set-up & weighs very little empty. I need too much chrome to spend anymore! Terry
  12. That's truly awesome!! In 2001 I was blessed to catch a 48" northern, probably around 30# (also in Canada). It truly looks small compared to this hawg!! Terry
  13. It's tough to lose a parent. Remember the good times, I'm sure there were plenty. We will keep you & your family in prayer. Terry WV Terry
  14. This past September our group (Road Riders for Jesus) rode from West Virginia to Missouri for a National Rally. It was my idea to ride in one day, which we did with stops every 100 miles or so. We all made it fine, but found that we rode by some interesting sights & great scenery which you have to if you are going to make 600 + miles in a day. Planning for next year & reflecting back, we'll break up travel to a little over 300 miles per day. This will allow us to relax & smell the roses. Just my thoughts. If you do plan a ride toward Charleston, WV let me know & we'll show you some local sights! Terry
  15. I quit over 10 years ago using the "patch". Smoked close to two packs a day for over twenty years. I believe that regardless of the method used you have to want to. If you're religious, pray. If not ask someone to pray for you, I'll start the ball rolling!! WV Terry
