  1. Maybe also have him read this thread! I've yet to read one response advising you to just let him be and ignore it...
  2. You need a Delorian with a flux capacitor to do that...
  3. ...or painted the Harley to match the Bushtec!
  4. One of many itty bitty minor complaints I have about Hannigan!! Overall great trike but lotsa little petty things...
  5. Doncha just love that ugly rust spot on our raked triple trees?!!?
  6. Wah Wah Wah!!!
  7. Welcome aboard Rob! Well, with rakes the further you get the front tire away from the rear the better it steers but at the cost of turning radius (gimme 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around). Generally we use a 6 degree rake as mentioned. As also mentioned getting some pullback with either Baron's risers or Flanders bars or both helps out a little to a lot. Another thing to check is rear tire pressure. You should be running around 24 psi give or take, with the front more like 36 psi or more. Lastly, use a rear tire mounted backwards on the front for a little better steering control. Dunlop makes an E3 in the correct size. 10. Yah! We have a good 2" already! Becky went over to Springville this AM and won't be back until around 1:30. OMG this is Buffalo and we now panic over less than a foot of snow and close everything down even before it starts snowing!!! Are we turning into a southern state??? Hey, at least I don't have to rhyme in this thread...
  11. Awww, come on KIC, "did" and "trip" don't rhyme that good It just plain don't sound as good as it should...
  12. Yup! I won't ride until the salt has been washed away with a couple of really good rainstorms. Interesting they mentioned several violations, suggesting he was a speeder...

  14. There will come a time so soon That you will sing another tune You will find to your dismay That 2nd Gen's are quite OK Not as nimble, not as fast But comfort you will find at last Also you will find in line That newer bikes start every time But be forewarned, do not forsake They're topheavy, and unlinked brakes Above all you do, and when you can Is thanking that brave service man!!!
  15. Welcome back my friend, welcome back!!!
  16. The RLU is a bigger black box mounted behind the relays attached tom the frame piece the relays mount to. It has wires coming out of the side and go to a connector...
  17. Lots of wisdom there Puc!!!!!
  18. Hate to say it but it may be time to pull the engine and split the case and inspect the rings! This can be turned into a good thing as with the '83, '84, and early '85 there is a 2nd gear issue that needs to be addressed that you could verify and fix at this point rather than a future point...
  19. He!!, I've done 3rd with the trike!! OK by yourself but as Ride Captain not too cool!!!

  22. Got any friends on the Police force?? Wrecking his life with a DWI is a lot better than wrecking (or ending) his life with an accident while DWI. Sounds to me like a need for some tough love. He obviously needs counselling, he's in a rut...
