Without rereading the whole thread, if cycling the kill switch fixes stuff, then I would suggest polishing up the kill switch contacts as they have been known to cause weird problems... -

I echo what others have said, I have never seen you give any criticism about Yamaha or any make for that matter. We all have our likes and dislikes in motorcycles and everything else, it is what makes all of us unique! I feel sorry for the former member as he/she is missing out on what this family is all about! I can also remember a former member who left due to Harley bashing...

Misadjustment of the gear selector switch?? Oops, I see you grounded the individual contacts with the same results. Sounds like a logic problem in the CMU then... -
