  1. I would say normal MPG for 1st gen's is around 40 mpg, slightly more or less depending on your driving style...
  2. Hmmmm, I see your point Jonas, but on the other hand the kid done good!! Dad was in control of the situation IMHO...

  5. I just got off the phone with Linda Jones, and I sadly announce that Ed Jones, AKA Jonsey passed away last night from cancer. I know I am saddened by the news, Jonsey was a great guy and good friend and I will certainly miss him as I am sure you all will too! Should anyone wish to send a Sympathy card, etc the address is 119 Prentice Street Springfield, MA 01104 Rest in Peace Jonsey!

  9. I remember those adapters being discussed a while ago here on the forum. 14. CLASS is something 2nd Gen Ventures don't have! Yet another nice feature lost to Cheaper, Better, Faster (choose one)...
  15. IMHO just replace a slave cylinder with a new one! They are not that expensive! With the cost of the rebuild kit and the cylinder hone if you don't have one plus your time and labor it's cheaper in the long run. Sometimes the rebuilds don't last long depending on how much damage there is to the cylinder walls...
  16. Yah! Small chunk missing from my wedding ring getting it just a little too close to where it shouldn't be...
  17. Yup!! I too learned the hard way about box wrenches and batteries, but nowhere near the spectacular results you had...

  19. Welcome to the free world...
  20. There's a Best Buy in a strip mall off the QEW north of the Falls, but I would check what their price is in Canadian dollars first...
  21. Yah!! +1 on installing NEW Stainless Steel brake lines, although a little expensive you will be GLAD you did! The R6 calipers will be an improvement but the SS lines will be that much more of an improvement!!
  22. Good thing Don elected NOT to include video camera support with the new chat...
