    Yes but this one has automatic thermal overload. In order to use it on the bike, You need to either put battery clamps for direct battery hook up, or add a lighter socket or modify the lighter socket on the bike. Because the lighter socket on the RSV is fused for 5 amps. This compressor draws 14 amps. (Ron putting words in my mouth) Yama Mama

    Today, Ron and I rode the bike to Harbor Freight. We found this nice high volume, 100psi, 12volt portable air compressor for $19.99 on sale. It is a nice compact size with all metal construction, with a quick disconnect coil hose and a nice straight air valve end. Comes with a nice carrying case. It is only 5 1/2" long, 2 inches wide, and 5 inches high. Thought I would share this with you. Yama Mama

    I agree with the group. I have been angry about disregard to motorcyclists on the road. I have known so many situations where the cage driver is at fault and the motorcyclist is injured seriously or as in most cases is killed. This is wrong and if we as a group as big as we are now, can make a difference then we should certainly do it. Yama Mama

    highwaypeg, The more I read these responses the angrier I get about this whole thing. Have your ever test driven a Sportster? I would go and ride one. I think the VStar sits lower too, The Sportster looks like it sits higher. How tall are you? That might make a difference to you. But your bike is so sharp, the Sportster does not even come close to the looks of yours. I am supporting you highwaypeg. I know we live close to eachother. I think we need to meet sometime soon.     highwaypeg, Your post really upsets me. I really think this is terrible that your husband is forcing you to sell the VStar that you love. I say do not do it. If you love your bike why should you have to sell it. Would you ask your HD Honey to sell his because you want to hang with us Yamaha bikers. NEVER. This is 2009 not 1899.     Fellas I never said it was a good deal, I said we saw someone buy the Venture. It was a gold and black one. We even sat on it, to get the feeling of the pillow top seats. But we rode away with a smile on our faces, on our 99 which we still love. Cause it did not cost us $18,500. Yama Mama
