If it is an 89 it will fit right in, you said 98 at one point which is Royal Star era. Depends on what is wrong with motor also. I got a used 1300 motor last year and it had a bad bearing that parts of it went through the middle gear and chewed it up. Gary

Upper left corner of software screen, click on COM, in this menu click on com auto, bottom choice. That will let software scan to find a port it is happy with. Key must be in run position, without motor running. Gary

It is slowly getting together. Doesn't look like much in pictures, but it will be awesome when complete. Waiting on some custom work for tank and fenders to arrive from California. It won't be done for Freebird's MD like I had hoped. Have it into a rolling frame at least at this point. Side covers are a spare set that are on it to protect motor while I am working on it. Exhausts are next hurdle. Front headers are going to be custom bent in order to fit in frame. Gary

Put filter on end of hose he put on. Putting filter in twinkie area puts an oil sheen on motor in that area. Gary
