I installed 1 1/2" risers (while Eck was here helping with other things, LOL) on my RSV and had no issues with any cables. Your bars will hit the plastic around the ignition cover, but doesn't effect you while riding.

Cherokee NC has a casino which is about 45 mins from where you are staying. Bryson City is a great place to spend the night as well. I plan on riding up that way before I head back to Afghanistan just not sure when i will get the call and take the time off.

ride safe, it's college football opening weekend here in the states, so watch out for the cages this weekend.

Well, after 485 days in Iraq, it's time to resume my old life and start where I left off. I look forward to seeing the family on a daily basis, playing with the grandkids, walking barefoot in the green grass, and of course, riding my Venture with my lovely wife. I only got to ride about 2 weeks total since i left, and can't wait to grab some throttle and let the pipes make some noise. I hope to be able to make some rallies and M/E's this year. Thanks for your prayers and best wishes, they have certainly helped. Hope to see some of you soon and make new friends in the coming year. Mike

thanks Dano. I had to have the upstairs unit rewired because it kept tripping the breaker and after an inspection by the elect. he told us the wire was too small for the unit, and the lwer unit was wired with the same thing. It is a heat pump, but we are only needing to have wire run from the fuse box to the inside unit, i think. LOL -
As a memeber of this fine club, I have found the most helpful, honest and friendly "friends" you could ever want to meet. I am in need of an electrician to help out at the house. I need the large AC unit rewired due to the wrong size wire used when the house was built, and I need my new garage to have a couple of lights installed. I travel alot and am unable to assist or look around for someone to help the wife out with this problem. I know the club members here network and I am hoping this could be a rewarding experience for both of us. LOL Ride safe and stay warm.
