I have no problem with cleavage.

The speakers are 4". If you search "speakers" here you will find a LOT of threads about them and will also see that there is very little you can do to improved the sound. Many use Polk speakers but the improvement is marginal. If you installed a decent head unit, it is unlikely that an AMP is going to offer much, if any, improvement. Any decent AMP is just going to overdrive those little 4" speakers. Here is one thread that comes up but there are many more. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?123932-Audio-Upgrades&highlight=polk+speaker

I just don't believe that there is any way that those tires are going to be anywhere near $1000.00. I'm sure that other companies will come out with them but thought I haven't found that particular tire listed anywhere yet, the Bridgestone 200/60R sells for around $180.00 and the 200/50R for around $176.00 at Revzilla. I don't see the 200/55 being a lot different than that. They are probably even cheaper some places.[h=1][/h]

Eileen told me last week that she had ordered a Spider bra. WOW....now THIS is going to be an exciting weekend. WOOOO HOOOOO I did a search and found all kinds of possibilities... I had some pictures here and though they were on mannequins, they were still probably more risque than the rules here allow so you'll just have to do a Google Search for Spider Bras to get the idea. WOW....I was getting a little excited. It came yesterday and ...... Yea...nice...very nice honey.....

I've had the atomic wings. Signed their "waver" and etc. I think that waver thing is just a gimmick and getting to put your name on the wall is also a gimmick. OK, yes, they were hot. I love hot food also and have a fairly high tolerance but will admit that these were hot. They were not unbearable though. I don't know how many ways that they come but my order came with 5 wings and a jalapeno in a styrofoam egg type tray. I was told that the jalapeno was to cool you off. The waiter left and when he came back, they were all gone. He asked me what happened to them and when I told him that I ate them, he seemed a bit shocked. I didn't bother to put my name on the wall, I thought that was a bit silly. Yes, they were hot. To be honest though, they were hot enough that after I ate the first one, I had no problem eating the other 4 because my mouth was a little numb. They tasted pretty good but I don't know how much I actually tasted after the first bite. So give them a try Jeff. If you like really hot food, you can handle them. There weren't the hottest thing I have ever eaten.

You are 100% correct. They are all the same from 1999 to the last model made.

I am a maybe either way. If I don't find time to start getting more riding in, there I will just keep what I have. If I do start riding more again, then I will consider buying the '18. Regardless of which engine it has. I guess what I'm saying is that if had the water cooled V4, It would not increase my odds of buying one.

Yes, you need two. As has been stated, you can use a flat blade on all of them but I've just found that the phillips is easier to get and keep in place than the flat blade on the long reach one. On the left side, it requires a flat blade. I don't remember about the one on the right side. So yes, I use a short straight blade and a long phillips.
-
I don't know why you folks are using a flat blade screwdriver. I don't remember for sure about the first gen but the question is from a guy with a second gen and it though you can use a flat blade, you can also use a phillips head. The phillips head works much better as it is easier to keep it where you want it. I'm talking about the sync screws. Don't remember for sure about the mixture screws but they should not normally be touched anyway. So, I use a long slender phillips head and it works perfectly.

That's a tough one to work through. I understand how you feel. My situation is not as bad as yours but challenging still. In my opinion, you have only two options. The first would be, as you say, to get him into some type of assisted living home. If he and Lisa absolutely refuse to go with that option, the only other one is to hire an aid to help with his needs. It sounds like it has reached the point where it would need to be a full time live in health aid. I don't know what kind of financial assistance is available, if any, for such help but certainly something that you should look into. My brother in law is quickly reaching that point. I've been running his business and working my full time job since January and I too have to be very careful that I don't get into trouble with my company while trying to keep his business going also. It's a thin line to walk sometimes. He is still living on his own but luckily he only lives about 5 minutes from us. Still, my wife is so worried that she is going to go over there some morning and find that he has passed away. She so wants us to be there during his final time but there is no way to assure that we will be. Our prayers are with you and your family in this decision.

Yes, I've found the front tire in Dunlop, Bridgestone, Avon, and most all other brands but haven't found a single tire in the rear size.
-
Where did you find them? I have done a little searching and didn't even find the published size on the Bridgestone site. 200/55R16 Which leads me to ask. WHY? Why would a company build a brand new motorcycle and equip it with a tire that very few people make? I'm sure if the bike is a success then some manufacturers will produce it but why not just go with something that is more standard like the 200/60R-16.

I actually changed the maximum size some time ago to 1024 x 768. -
Dan, I wish I had the words and resources to help. I've read all your posts and it truly hurts my heart that you and your family are having to go through this. I am truly at a loss of words. All I can say is that I care, I pray for you, your brother, your family. I do believe that prayer is a powerful thing and I don't take it lightly. It is all I have to give. I give it freely and regularly. I think of you as more than just a member of a website. You are family here also.

I don't see any of your ads. I know that they were there. Maybe they expired?

Which fuse did you check? I think there are actually two of them. One is behind the side cover on the left and the other is inside the lower cowling on the right side. -
Speedohealer vs. SpeedoDRD

It just hangs there are wherever you put it. It comes with a couple of Nylon ties. It has a thick rubber like clear coating on it. -
Yes, my $95.00 per year to cover both bikes is liability only. Full coverage on the Spyder would have raised my premium by $152.00 per year. I've never carried anything but liability on my bikes.
-
I was pleasantly surprised when I added the Spyder onto my motorcycle policy. I not only added the Spyder but also added Eileen as an additional driver. My total premium increase was $18.44 per year. Adding the Spyder restored my "multi-bike" discount. So now my total annual cost (RSV and Spyder) is $94.44 per year.

Last Sunday was the first time I've had mine out this year. Did 186 miles which is my total for the season. Haven't given up on getting it out a few more times but life is just busy right now. Still have no plans of selling it at this time. Always hopeful that things will slow down a bit before next summer.

Something else new is coming next week....

The standard Road Glide starts at $21,299. Not sure if the standard or the special would be the best comparison. Would have to go into further investigative mode I guess. -

The volts and amps are directly related. Given the same resistance, more volts means more amps. So if the regulator is allowing 17 volts to get pushed through then the amps will be higher also. -

It's an auction folks. When you bid, it only increases in an amount to exceed the previous bid. Then it will automatically increase your bid up to the max amount that you submitted. People have to bid against each other to get the prices up.
