  1. LOL....funny. You do know that it's a fake news website thought, right?
  2. I used to have one of those. It was 17000 KW. Generac until with automatic transfer switch and ran on propane. It was never hooked to the house. I had it hooked to a greenhouse where we were attempting to raise fish. When we shut down that project, I thought about moving it to the house but ended up selling it. I probably should have kept it but to be honest, it went through a LOT of propane when running so was expensive to operate. It too ran a self test mode once per week. Nice unit though.
  3. Snowing here too. I don't think it will amount to much though. If I find out that YOU are responsible, you are going onto double secret probation.
  4. Last Sunday, we experienced one heck of a storm. It rained a lot starting Sunday and lasting through the night. At around 5:30 Sunday afternoon though, we had a short burst of wind that came through and it was about as bad as I've ever seen here. Reports said that they were radar confirmed at 70 MPH. My power went off during that time and was out for almost 3 days. The big willow tree that some of you like to camp under lost a huge limb, about 25% of the tree I guess. There were other large limbs all over the yard. One street over, there were about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile of telephone poles that were snapped like toothpicks about half way up. Not broke and hanging over but completely broken in half with the bottom halves still standing straight. These were fairly new poles. So anyway, power finally came back on. Incredibly the food in the freezers stayed frozen. Probably because I never opened the doors while there was no power. I've made pretty good headway in getting the yard straightened out. Haven't tackled the willow tree yet. I'm going to need a tall ladder to cut the limb where I need to. I'll get to that when I can. In the meantime, it was 25F here this morning and the first very light dusting of snow. I guess it's time to get the gas tank filled on the bike and Eileen's Spyder and get the Seafoam added. Sad to say folks but I'm thinking that winter is just around the corner.
  5. I had a co-worker about 30 years ago that had one exactly like that picture. I rode it a few times and then he offered to sell it to me for $1,000.00. At the time, I thought that was a bit high for it so passed. That was a long time ago but I seem to remember that it had good power but didn't handle so great. A few years ago, I was visiting a customer who worked out of his home here in Ohio. As I was leaving, I saw two of them sitting in his garage. He had a white one with the bags and etc. and a blue one. He told me that he and his father had bought them new. The white one had belonged to his father and he stopped riding soon after buying it for health reasons. He offered it to me for $4500.00. I felt that it was well worth the money but decided that I didn't need to spend the $4500.00 at that time. I've kicked myself ever since for not buying it. It looked exactly like this one, had just under 10,000 miles on it and looked like you could put it on the showroom floor and sell it for new. I'm sure it's long gone but if I remembered who the customer was or approximately where it was, I would find out if he still had it. Would love another chance at it.
  6. I understand. There were no forum software changes though. Just server software.
  7. I don't think you will get an answer. His membership expired back in May.
  8. Don't know. It wouldn't be caused by the server reboot. I can't check it because mine doesn't do it.
  9. Congrats Jeff. Just so we get off on the right foot, let me just say that "I didn't do it". Whatever IT is.
  10. All done. We now continue with our regularly scheduled program.
  11. Freebird

    Warning

Server being rebooted to complete software updates. Don't panic.
  12. I think you did great on the video. Instructive and fun. As for the tool, looks like it works great and as you say, much easier than other methods that we try.
  13. Well I selected 1, 3, and 5. Some other selections may play a small part but I think that those three are the main culprits. As for as eating out is concerned, I travel a lot and eat out a lot but nothing compares to a good home cooked meal. My dining out is paid for by the company but I still prefer good home cooking. As for burgers, Whoppers are ok. No burger from McDonalds appeal to me. Hardies's has some that are decent. We don't have them here but Double cheeseburgers with Jalapeno's from Whataburger down south are about my favorite. Sonic double jalapeno cheeseburgers are a close second. All these new gourmet burger joints are just overpriced examples of the same fast food stuff. 5 Guys, In and Out, Backyard burgers, all are just overpriced versions of the same old thing. Red Robin has about as good as I've eaten away from home. All that being said, NONE of them even come remotely close to a hand patted thick fresh ground beef burger cooked on my own grill. Forget the cost. If you eat just to satisfy your hunger, then the others will do. If you eat to truly enjoy the experience, nothing compares to a home grilled burger.
  14. Sounds like an excellent deal to me. I would have bought it too.
  15. I'm not sure what you have us looking at. I don't know much about the Royal Stars but the pilot screws on the RSV are on the back side of the carbs. You have to reach through from the opposite side with a long screwdriver. If they haven't been removed, there will be a cap on them about the size of a pencil eraser. No tabs of any kind.
  16. Very strange looking. Don't know that I would want to own one but like you, would LOVE to ride one.
  17. OK...I've been reading all the comments on the new Wing and will have to say that I agree that it is a very nice bike. I think that Honda will do very well with it. That being said, I can see where it will attract a lot of you first gen lovers but those of us who love the second gens are still waiting on our bike. It looks like the only thing available to us at this point is the VTwin models. While I'm not looking for a new bike at this moment, I guess the new Star Venture would still be at the top of my list.
  18. That is such a cool movie. Love it and that bike.
  19. Interesting. You solved a mystery that I had actually forgotten about. My previous '99 model had the VMax rear also. On it I had the Speedohealer, not the SpeedoDRD. I remember though that the cruise wouldn't work in 4th gear. I had chalked it up to something in the Dyna2000 ignition module but now it all makes sense. It WOULD work in 5th but not 4th. Maybe the error was a bit different or something different between the Speedohealer and the SpeedoDRD.
  20. I don't have a clue but am curious.
  21. I don't think that is true on these bikes. They get tighter as the shims wear. It's not exactly a walk in the park but it can generally be done in 3 or 4 hours. Not fun but not terrible either.
  22. Google search found this: vcruntime140.dll would point to Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2015. If this does not show up in your Apps & features (Control Panel>Programs & features) list you can download and install it from here. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685
  23. That's a very nice looking trailer. Have seen something similar but can't remember what it was.
  24. Ha...hadn't even noticed. Doubt I'll put mine back though.
  25. The Las Vegas thread has been deleted. As predicted, it turned into nothing more than political debate and had little to do with offering our prayers and/or support to the victims and their families. I should have stopped it days ago and apologize for letting it continue. This is just a notification for anybody who may be looking for that thread. This thread will be locked and not open to comments.
