Dust seal gone from bearing on final drive.
Freebird replied to OrlinEngh's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Well, I'm obviously going blind or something. I posted two links to the parts and didn't see either time that the part was listed as unavailable. On the other hand, if anything happens when you try to remove the bearing, I do have a couple of spare rear assemblies if you end up needing one. I got them used so have no idea how many miles on them or what years they came off of but if you need one, I have them. -

At this link, it appears to show all the parts and nothing seems to be discontinued. https://www.partshark.com/oemparts/a/yam/50045f8ff8700209bc794e7c/drive-shaft -
We love it. We use it all the time at home, in the car, on the bike. I also use Iheart. You can get free versions of each one and try them out. There will be a few commercials with the free versions but not that many.

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about but I don't see anything related to the rear wheel that has been discontinued. Some part numbers have changed though. https://www.partshark.com/oemparts/a/yam/50045f91f8700209bc794e84/rear-wheel -
2018 Star Venture TC Infotainment System
Freebird replied to jozipp's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
In my case, my Iphone connects easily to the Nissan Murano system. I can stream music, answers calls, etc. The only thing that doesn't work is the text message feature. I looked into it early on and came to the conclusion that the Iphone is just very finicky about which systems it will work with in regard to text messages. There was no known fix at the time. That was a couple of years ago and I've never looked into it again. Recently got a Iphone X and haven't tried it. I seldom drive the Murano and it's just not a big deal to me. -
Thank you for that and a Merry CHRISTMAS to you also.

2018 Star Venture TC Infotainment System

First of all, I think this is the first post we've seen from an owner of the 2018. Please post pictures because if you did, I missed them. As to your question, I really don't know but what kind of phone do you have? I know that I have that same issue with my Nissan Murano. I have an Iphone and for whatever reason, the Iphone is not compatible with the Nissan system and I understand that this is a common issue with the Iphone. They don't always play well with such systems. -
Beautiful dog. Amazing how large a hole that they leave in our hearts when they leave us. You and your wife and in our thoughts and prayers.

I get crap like that all the time. Got three this morning supposedly from PayPal with a link to click to update my information. Bottom line is this. NEVER click on a link that you receive in an email asking you to update your information. Regardless if it is from a bank, PayPal, your Internet Service Provider or anybody else. You can usually hover over the link and see what URL it actually goes to and it is never legit. You should never log into an account from a link in an email. Go the the site as you normally would from your bookmarks or by typing in the URL and see if you have any messages there. If that doesn't satisfy you, then call your bank or whomever.

The original news statement about Bass Pro buying Cabela's stated that both chains would continue to operate rate under their current names. There were no intentions to close or change the name of Cabela's. Of course, that could change in the future but that is the word at this time.

LOL...saw that picture somewhere last year. I don't know if it's funny or sick but since I laughed, if it's sick then I am too.

I've seen this question come up before but have never seen a source for one.

To all our Venturerider friends and family, Eileen and I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving Day. This has been a hard year for the Nelson family but we continue to be blessed in many ways. We are thankful for so many things. In times of difficulty, we often find that our trials make us better people. They sometimes allow us to truly demonstrate our love for one another through our actions and not just our words. Eileen's brother is still with us and though he has many bad days, he has some very good days also. He can no longer live alone so Eileen has been staying with him for the past couple of months and will continue to do so as long as is necessary. I am still working my full-time job and also running his stairlift business on the side. It is tiring but I've settled into the routine and finding that I can do it as long as I must. We will have Thanksgiving dinner here at the house today. I've got the turkey all ready to go into the oven and Eileen has much of the other food prepared. She and Terry will come here this afternoon and she and I will get the final cooking done. It will be a small gathering, about 10 people I think and we will celebrate life and the blessings that the Lord has given us. I'm not sure that I ever TRULY understood the concept of blessings received through what you give, not what you take. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have been given to serve somebody who truly needs my help. I am also thankful that so many of you are a part of this great group even though I've not been able to be here as often as I have been in the past. I promise you that I still read every post made here and respond to any issues and requests that any of you have to the best of my ability. Things will return to normal at some point and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible as soon as things calm down here a bit.

I rode the RSV and Eilee's Spyder yesterday. I rode them both about 3 miles to the gas station, filled them up with gas, added a can of Seafoam to each, and then rode them back home. Put them on the battery tenders and said, "see you in the spring". I hope we get more riding in next summer. I think I rode a total of just under 200 miles this year.

I can add MP4 but the best thing is to upload them to YouTube and then link them here. Videos consume a lot of storage space. If I were to add it, the maximum would be set at 1,000,000 MB. Most videos use more space than that.

v-max rear questions?
Freebird replied to baylensman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The VMax housing is not machined for the speedo sensor. You would have to have it machined to do a direct swap. RSVSportmax removes the gears from the VMax rear and installs them into the RSV housing. I suppose you could do it yourself but there's more to it than just pulling out the gears and sticking them into the other housing. It's is outside of my knowledge base to do so. There are clearances and backlash that have to be properly set. When I did it on my '99, I took the easy way out and just did the exchange with RSVSportmax. That is the way that I will do it the next time also. If I remember correctly, I used my existing drive shaft. I'm almost sure of that. -
I reloaded for several years. Pistol and rifle only, no shot shells. Used a Rock Chucker press. Really enjoyed it at the time. There was just something about fine tuning your own ammo for best accuracy and punch. I loaded mostly .357 and 44 mag pistol and .308, 30-06, and 270 rifle.

LOL....funny. You do know that it's a fake news website thought, right? -
I used to have one of those. It was 17000 KW. Generac until with automatic transfer switch and ran on propane. It was never hooked to the house. I had it hooked to a greenhouse where we were attempting to raise fish. When we shut down that project, I thought about moving it to the house but ended up selling it. I probably should have kept it but to be honest, it went through a LOT of propane when running so was expensive to operate. It too ran a self test mode once per week. Nice unit though.
