Got a pm from jayceesfolly today, ticket sales for the International trailer raffle is falling far short of our expectations.....With only 400 tickets to sell ,he has not even sold 1/4 of them...We need to cover the cost of this trailer..please see the above sticky section and get your tickets now...also get those registration forms in if you plan on attending the rally this year...they are also found in the sticky section..........:fnd_(16):Only 4 months until the rally...YA HOO ! I have one of those also and love it......Its great when on long rides and if you ride "NECKID"..........................so soft on the butt....

You are right, I bought a left over that was never picked up from the highway patrol...Had to make it street legal for NY...remove red lights, flashers, siren, radio box etc..... It was a great bike.....wish I still had it.......we all do dumb things

My mother was in a nursing home with dementia for almost 3 years...She was always very active and was game for anything before she became ill....One day when I was visiting (I visited every day), she saw me pull up on the motorcycle....That was it , she wanted to go on a ride...WELL, I took her outside and before the nursing staff could catch us, we took off to the cheers of the other residents...We had a great ride...Oh Yea....We caught h&ll when we came back , but it was worth it.........She was 85 at the time......the other residents talked about that for weeks..she was now a rebel against the authority who told her what she can and can't do..For weeks when I came to visit the other residents kept asking me to take them out for a ride....I WAS WATCHED VERY CLOSELY FOR QUITE A LONG TIME AFTER THAT LITTLE INCIDENT..... :whistling:

true story.....Had a defendant take the stand on his own behalf and tell the jury that the witness against him was lying about recognizing him ...He told the jury that the witness could not of seen his face because "HE" was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery....

In NY, even police serve on jurys.............Here if your employer doesn't pay you, The state of NY does....not much...$45.00 a day....IN NY, IF YOUR EMPLOYER HAS 10 OR MORE EMPLOYEES...THEY MUST PAY YOU ....Also if you are not picked that day for a jury, usually your service is done for 8 years..............

That is just about right....What you don't know is what is going on while you are taking all those breaks......Most Judges who handle criminal matters have quite a large calendar.......Can't forget all the other matters just because of a trial ...and there are always a lot of legal issues that arise during a trial that jurors never know about.............Its not a perfect system, but I'd rather have a DA have to prove that I'm guilty, than "ME" having the burdon of proving that I'm innocent:usa:

Some day I'm gonna write a book of lame excuses that potential jurors use to try to get out of jury duty....and the ones that will get you excused in a NY second........
